Chapter 27

Suddenly Derek spoke up.

“we always could…”

I looked up at him, so did the other boys.

“we could make her forget about vampires” he explained. My eyes widened.

“how would that help?” I snapped.

“she is scared of vampires! if she forgets about them and we make her think she has memory loss…” zayn added understanding what Derek meaned.

“I don’t know” I whispered. What if Ella does find out! I mean! She will sometimes.

“louis it’s the only thing we can do at the moment.” Harry said. I nodded sadly. I don’t want to do this to her.

We all turned our heads towards Niall! He is the one who has to make her forget! Because he is the only who can do that with his gift. He nodded sadly.

And he went inside the house.

Stephanie’s Pov

Ella calmed down. She didn’t know I was a vampire. So that why she wasn’t that scared of me. but I tried to avoid touching her, so she wouldn’t notice my skin was ice cold.

Suddenly niall walked in. he came towards us. I felt Ella tense up.

“it’s okay Ella don’t worry.” I said to her. But she pressed her back against the wall. Niall turned his head away from her and looked at me.

“I’m going to make her forget” he whispered sadly. I nodded. Maybe that was the best idea for now.

Niall turned back to Ella and walked closer to her.

“please leave me alone!” Ella whimpered. She tried to back up but she was already pressed against the wall.

“I’m sorry Ella” niall whispered to her, before he lifted up her shin and stared into her eyes. He took a deep breath.

Niall’s Pov

I lifted up Ella’s shin. And stared into her eyes. They showed fear. Tears dripped of her face. I felt guilty. This was our fault. I took a deep breath.

Before I connected my eyes deeply with her. She stared at me like I wasn’t there, so I knew she was in my compelling.

I took another deep breath.

“Ella, I want you to forget everything about vampires, everything about Mira. The last past weeks since you met us!” I said. She kept staring in my eyes. I swallowed my dry throat.

“I want you to think we are your friends, you moved in with us and you are louis’ girlfriend” I finished and I let go of her face.

Once the connection between our eyes was broken she fell on the ground. this was a normal reaction after I make you forget things. I catched her before she hit the floor.

And I carried her upstairs. I laid her down on the bed and tugged her in. I kissed her forehead  and whispered her a ‘goodnight’ before speeding back downstairs where I was greeted by everyone.

They all looked at me. waiting for me to say something. I nodded sadly.

“I made her forget” I whispered. Everybody nodded. I knew nobody wanted this. Especially louis. But it indeed was for the best.

Louis’ Pov

I asked niall if I could speak to him for a second and he nodded. We walked outside and I turned to him.  there was a silence both of us didn’t say a word.

I decided I would break the silence.

“what will she remember?” I asked weakly on the urge of tear again. He looked up.

“I made her forget about vampires and the last weeks since we met her, I made her think we are good friends and… you are her boyfriend.” He said sadly. I hugged niall.

“I didn’t want this either niall” I comforted him. he nodded.

“I know” he said to me.

“I hope she’ll wake up soon” he added.

“I hope so too” I said. He gave me a weak smile and I smiled weakly back before we both returned to the house.
