Chapter 49

**Recap Ella’s Pov**

I opened the fridge and my face showed pure disgust when I saw the blood bags. Those are probably for Louis.

I groaned. That is just disgusting.

I hesitantly shove my hand into the fridge, trying to look past the blood bags and grabbing some HUMAN food.

I grabbed a sandwich and I closed the fridge as I turned around.

But at that moment I dropped my sandwich and I screamed as loud as I could.

“AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH”

I had dropped my sandwich and the glass of water that I was holding shattered to the ground.

Ella’s Pov

I watched in horror how Louis’  body smacked to the ground. His fall created a loud smack which echoed through the whole place and it made the whole basement shake.

My mouth hung open and I took a big step backwards. Not knowing what was happening or what I just saw. I wanted to scream so badly, on my loudest of all but no sound came out of my mouth. My breath seemed like to be stuck in my throat.

When I suddenly got my body to move again, I ran over to louis’ motionless body. I kneeled down next to him I started shaking him back and forth. I wished he was moving. What's wrong with him? Why is he not moving?

“Louis!”

“Louis!”

I started screaming his name. I wanted louis to wake up so badly.

He cannot leave me!

He may not leave me!

“come on Louis! Wake up! What happened! Come on louis!” I cried.

Why isn’t he moving?

why isn’t he saying anything?

“Louis what's happening? please louis talks to me, answer me, do something, just something! that's all I ask for” I cried while I kept shaking him.

Suddenly I heard crackling that came of above me. My head snapped upwards and I noticed the opening in the ceiling again.

I looked back down at louis and soon realization started seeping into my mind. He went out the basement.

But why isn’t he moving anymore.

Suddenly the light that was shining from the kitchen was shielded, indicating that someone was blocking the hole.

I inhaled deep and I did the first thing that came into my mind;

Hide.

I quickly hid behind the fridge, I was still able to peak a little but I knew that if I did that that would be a big risk to get seen as well.

Omg what about louis?!

He is just lying there!

‘He’ll be fine, just stay where you are right now’

Something inside of me told me.

But I shook my head no.

I can’t leave louis there like that. Whoever is up there was able to knock him down so he could harm louis even more.

I got from behind my hiding spot and I ran towards louis.

I grabbed his arms and I tried dragging him with me so that I could hide him as well. But he was way too heavy, I got him not any inches forward. Why is he so heavy? I mentally sighed to myself.
