**recap Ella’s Pov**

“I can’t go back to the past Ella, but let me show you that I am different in the future” he said and he walked back over to me, not breaking any eye contact.

“w-who said I was going to give you another chance?” I stuttered, his eyes were so blue, like the ocean, like the sky on a hot summer day. I was drowning in them. Making me forget what I was saying.

He kept coming closer to me. I kept telling myself to look away, but I couldn’t.

“please Ella, give me one more chance.” Louis begged. I finally managed to break eye contact. I stared at my lap for a while, putting my thoughts in a row. Let the confusion I had earlier when I was looking at him fading away.

I shook my head.

“I don’t know if I can do that” I admitted.

Louis’ Pov

I am a jerk! I know that. And I know that I shouldn’t be expecting Ella to forgive me. there is no reason to forgive me.

I looked back up at Ella and took a step closer to her. She wanted to take a step back as well but I grabbed her arm gently before she could do that.

I felt her body stiffen under my grip. Goosebumps formed onto her perfect, bare skin of her arms.

I quickly let go of her and stared at her with sadness plastered onto my face. I don’t know why it made me this sad. But I just want her to be fine with the fact that she is mine.

Cause the thing is…

She has all the right to reject me as mate. but she doesn’t know that. She doesn’t know everything about the mating. I don’t even know if she knows ANYTHING about it.

And I know that it is wrong that I not tell her that she CAN reject me. but I’m just scared that when I would tell her that she would reject me.
