"okay rin i'm off, i'll tell you how it goes" you kissed him while you got out his car. "be careful i don't trust her" you closed the car door and leaned against it "you don't have to, i can protect myself" he smiled. "i know but still-"

"bye rin" you walked away and into the tea shop. you looked around until you saw a brown haired girl, when she saw you she waved excitedly. "hi y/n come sit" you walked to her table and sat across from her. "i told them i was waiting for you so they should be back to take our orders."

"oh did you have to wait long?" camie shook her head "no not at all, i just got here like 2 minutes after you did" she put her hand on top of yours. "don't worry bestie" she smiled brightly at you. that has to be one of the fakest smiles i have ever seen. well i guess i'll do the same.

you slowly pulled your hand back, resting it in your lap and returned the fake smile. the waiter arrived at your table "thank you for being patient, what can i get you ladies today?" you looked down at the menu while camie ordered "could i get a green tea boba please" she said with a smile. no one is that happy.

"of course" the waiter wrote on the note pad before turning to you "and you?" you closed the menu and ordered "could i get (whatever flavor) boba, that's all" the waiter wrote everything down then collected the drinks menu. "alright, if you want any sweet treats the menu is right there. i'll be back with drinks" with that she disappeared into the back.

camie broke the silence first "so did you drive here?" you shook your head 'no' "um a friend dropped me off" she made a 'o' shape. "oh that was nice of them" she paused "can you not drive or something?" she said as it sounded like she was laughing at you. "yes i can actually, i'm just waiting to get my own car."

camie raised her eyebrows and slightly nodded, silence fell again. "so why did you want to hang out again?" you thought about what you said "sorry if that sounds rude i'm just confused" she smiled "i don't know, i just wanna to get to know my old friend's girlfriend that's all." your face turned confused, old friend?

"oh did rintarou not tell you?" you shook your head "no he didn't" her face turned to shocked "me and rin- i mean rintarou have been friends since middle school. i can't believe he didn't tell you."

camie's pov

"this is going perfect, if she doesn't know anything it's gonna be super easy to get into her head. just wait rin, i will get you back."

"yeah i don't know why he didn't" she looked down like she was sad—perfect.

the waiter came back with our drinks "here you go, enjoy" she smiled and walked off. "you know... if you want to know anything about rintarou i can tell everything" i smiled brightly.

"oh no that's alright, i'm sure i can just ask him" i frowned my eyebrows "can this girl be any stupider" i thought. "are you sure you can trust him? i mean he couldn't even tell you about me—let alone his past."

her eyes filled with question "what about his past?" before i could respond a ding went off.

your phone went off signaling you had a text, it was from kageyama.

"who is that?" camie said to you, without thinking you replied. "oh it's kageyama" instantly regretting it. you couldn't read her face, it seemed like a combination of rage and jealousy. trying to text kageyama back, camie spoke again. "so you know my boyfriend i see."

boyfriend? what is she talking about? "i'm sorry can you repeat that?" she scoffed "my boyfriend tobio kageyama, that's who you're text right?" you squinted your eyes at the girl in front of you. "boyfriend? so he's finally done with kae?"

camie started tapping her foot loudly on the ground as she started getting annoyed—but by what? you bring kae's name up? "yeah he's done with that whore, she isn't-" she paused and took a deep breath "she wasn't good for him, and she was extra for no reason. showing up randomly at his practices just to start an argument, flirting with ALL of his teammates—even the third years."

"he's so much better with me, i'm better than her anyways." she said so casually as she took a sip of her drink and sighed, leaning back into the booth. "sorry i had to get that off my chest." you nodded "no you're fine that's what friends are for right?" she smiled at you. her phone started ringing, she looked at it and groaned.

"sorry this is my brother i have to take it, excuse me" she got up and walked outside the tea shop. once she left you looked down at your phone making you recorded everything she just said. perfect.

she came back with an annoyed expression "sorry about that, he wanted to know how to preheat the oven." you laughed "my cousin asked me the same thing" you looked at your phone seeing you had a text from suna telling you he was here. "it's getting pretty late and my mom wants me back home to help her cook." she nodded as she understood, you tried to place your half of the bill on the table but she pushed it away.

"no no i asked you to hang out it's my treat" you were shock but still skeptical. "okay well thank you for today... new friend." you said sarcastically "no problem bestie." camie uttered back, with that you left knowing you got the information you needed.

a/n : i'm ending this book in the next couple of chapters :(

also i wonder how many people are gonna be mad about this chapter, can't wait to see the funny comments
