Renya's POV

The weekend quickly passed. Events of Saturday still played in the back of my mind.

I shuffled into school, the halls quickly filling with zombie like teens due to lack of sleep. Everyone's movements were slow and annoyed. I was in an okay mood since I haven't encountered anyone that has remembered my little party incident. I was hoping I wouldn't see Sarah either, since I was still pissed about her making me go. Though I was more conflicted about being angry because I wouldn't have met Calum......or Luke.

I shoved my books in my locker, keeping one with me for History. When I closed the door I nearly dropped everything in surprise when Calum appeared beside me. He laughed at my reaction and I flipped him off, starting down the hall.

"Well good morning to you too Rey." The dark boy scoffed catching up to me. I shot him an innocent smile and he rolled his eyes

"So what happened when your parents got home the other day?" He asked.

I wasn't expecting Calum to talk to me at school since he was one of the more "popular" people. In fact, some sent confused glances our way as we walked. It was nice to have someone else to talk to so I didn't want to ruin it by bringing it up.

"They didn't know you were there if that's what you mean. They were too busy trying to scream each other's heads off." I said, my mood darkening at the memory.

"Oh... Are you okay?"

"Yeah. When I went on a walk something distracted me so I forgot about it."

"Something?" Calum's eyes locked on mine and a smile played on his lips. He's going to kill me for telling him, but I wanted to figure out what is so bad about the subject.

"Well, more like someone......Luke Hemmings to be exact." I said shrugging. Suddenly, a hand gripped my arm and pulled us out of the student traffic. Calum turned me towards him.

"You talked to Luke again?" His eyes somehow got darker when the name left his lips. Why was he so on edge about the guy?

"We just talked Cal it's okay. He's not bad."

Calum's tan hand raked through his raven hair and shook his head.

"Dammit Reyna, he hurts people. He uses them to get whatever it is he wants. And that's not okay."

I nodded, not meeting his eyes. I wanted to be able to make my own opinions about people but what he said stuck. Although I was having a hard time believing the tall blonde was anything but nice, I suddenly became cautious of my thoughts about him. I didn't want to be tangled up in lies and chaos, but he fascinated me. Luke's intriguing blue eyes never held menace when they caught mine. When his lips form into a genuine smile, how could it possibly be fake? The way he did everything was so perfect, I can't believe he's even real.

"Promise you'll stay away from him." Calum pressed.

"I......I promise." I sighed.

Liar.

He smiled at me and waved good-bye, and started towards his class. Before I moved away from the locker, something familiar caught my attention from down the hall.

Oh great.

I became captivated all over again as I watched Luke Hemmings lean against lockers and talking to Michael and other guys I didn't recognize. All of Calum's warnings disappeared, as my thoughts became scrambled. Luke laughed loudly at something Michael said and replied with another sarcastic comment. The blonde wore a black tank that read "go all the aWAY" along with a pair of black skinny jeans. Tattoos were swirled on his arms and peaked out from under his shirt on his collarbone. Luke pulled his black lip ring into his teeth and I almost screamed.
