Quirk Name: Helmet
Quirk Type: Mutation
Inspiration: Night vision/thermal headgear and gas masks.
Description: The user's head is an amalgamation of military headgear, consisting of three distinct parts: the helmet, the goggles, and the gas mask. The user can eat and drink by flipping open one of the filters on the gas mask.
The function of each part is as follows:
Helmet
A kevlar helmet that acts as the user's head, this one has a kevlar coif that extends down to the beginning of the neck.
Gas Mask
A gas mask that filters out harmful chemicals and particles in the air.
Goggles
Four lenses that act as the user's eyes. The lenses can see far beyond the normal human spectrum of vision, seeing into the infrared and ultraviolet spectrums. However normal human eyesight is the standard setting.
Some of the lenses features are heat vision, night vision, x-ray vision (this doesn't work when objects are touching), being able to see electric charge, being able to see plotted trajectories of objects, increased visual range (telescopic vision) and resistance to being blinded.
Specific Drawbacks of Overuse: Eye strain, headaches, migraines.
