Lucas's POV
Seven months have passed since Andrea left after aborting our baby. I don't understand what was going through her mind.
She just disappeared off the face of the earth after naming most of her money to me, Sarah and her family. I have tried finding her but with no luck even after hiring the best investigators.
So, I am here with Samuel who knows a person who can find everyone.
"I still don't get why you are trying to find her. That bitch is out of your life. Good riddance!" My friends believed that I should not waste money and resources after her.
"I deserve closure and some answers. I deserve to know why she did everything, why she hated me so much as to kill a child."
He groaned when he heard this. "She did it because she is a backstabbing bitch. Nothing more. You are still so invested in her, frankly, you are wasting your time. This is the last time you are looking for Medusa, if you fail to find her this time, promise me you will stop looking for her."
I looked him in the eye and saw that he was serious. "I know that you all think that I have unresolved feelings for her, but it is not the case. I hate her as much as you all, actually even more than you can imagine. But I can't move on until I get my closure. I cannot even have a relationship, any girl does not deserve it. Because I am still legally married and I need her to sign for the divorce. She ran away without signing the divorce papers though she did sign all the property papers. Would have made my life easier, if she had signed it then."
Flashback
"Have the divorce papers been sent to her? I want them back signed as soon as possible."
"Sir, they were mailed personally but no one knows about her current residence. Though sir, all her properties-"
"I don't fucking care about her properties. I just want to be free from her. I don't care what the fuck you do, I want my divorce papers signed. Or-"
The phone suddenly rang. The lawyer sighed in relief as I pulled the phone out of my pocket and picked it up.
"Hello Lucas, this is Aaron speaking. And-"
"I don't want to hear anything about your sister and her useless excuses."
