Andrea's POV
Today is my appointment. I'll be going to the doctor with Maria as I have a communication problem. The doctor can speak English but the auto-rickshaw drivers can't and I have to do some grocery shopping.
Maria said we'll go to the doctor at 4:00 pm as she has a guest whom she has to give a tour of her resort. I didn't ask about the guest because it's not my business. Also, I've to go to the bakery. I informed the kids that there is no class today.
My students from the designing class are so mischievous. What I love the most is they know when to behave and when to not! In these seven months, I've gained a strong bond with kids. I also learned how to pamper the kids but that doesn't mean I'll pamper my baby.
These mischievous kids take anything and everything and play with it. One day they took my dairy and one of the kids said ''Look, I've found a book to draw and scribble" with that they all sat in a circle and started to open the book. Thank the lord that I came back on time and took the book. Since then I keep my diary in my purse.
I said no, they are well mannered. They never touch my purse and phone. I also have Lucas's photo in my diary. I printed out the picture which we clicked together in the Maldives. I cropped his picture and put it in the diary and also set that picture as my iPhone screen saver.
It is 9:30 am and I'm eating my breakfast. My shift starts at 10:00 am. The bakery is not far away from my apartment so I will leave my apartment at 9:40 am. I took my purse, car keys and phone. I locked my door and went to the parking lot. I unparsed my car and sped off to the "Muffin Tin Team".
I reached the bakery within 10 minutes. I went inside and saw that Tia was already there. Tia is 35 years old woman. She has a daughter and son. She's the owner of the bakery. The bakery is not that big so the staff is also less. There is five staff including me. Three boys and two girls. Though Tia is the owner, she is a helping hand. Jakob and Tony are the two male staff. Jakob is the best cake baker so he handles baking. Tony is good at coffee making so he handles that. I'm good at accounting as a businesswoman so I handle that. Tia handles the orders of the customers. She also takes care of Renovation.
"Morning Tia, you're early today?" I greeted her.
"Yeah, Rahul decided to drop the kids to school so here I am." She said shrugging.
I nodded and sat at the counter. "When is your next appointment, Andrea?" Tia inquired
"It's today, Maria said she'll accompany me." I smiled
"That's great, don't take too much stress. Let her help you with things." She said with concern.
Maria is also pregnant so I ask her to take a rest and ask Monica to accompany me. But she says in this time walking and exercising is good for health.
