A month later
Cheryl groans softly and lays her head down against the lunch table. Feeling nauseous once again like she had been for a few weeks now. She covered her eyes with her hands and took a slow deep breath, hoping, praying the nausea would pass quickly.
"You okay Cheryl?" Archie asks as he joins her at the lunch table. They were the first two to arrive.
"Nauseous." The redheaded girl mumbles softly.
"Maybe you should go home." Archie suggested.
Shaking her head, Cheryl looks at him. "I'm not damaging my 4.0 gpa."
"If you're not well, I'm sure your gpa will remain a 4.0 for one day." Archie said. "Go home, rest."
Sighing, Cheryl gets up. "Can you tell V?"
Archie nodded. "Of course."
"Thanks." The redhead mumbles before leaving the cafeteria with her belongings and heading out to her red Corvette. She drove home, breathing deeply. She wasn't expecting to see Toni Topaz sitting on the front steps to her house.
"What are you doing here?" Cheryl asks, too tired to deal with the serpent.
"I saw you leave school." Toni said.
The redhead frowns and crosses her arms. "And?"
"You never leave school early. I wanted to make sure that you were okay." Toni said.
Cheryl rolls her eyes and moves to open the door to her home. "Just feeling sick. Besides, why does it matter to you? What happened between us never should've happened and will Never. I repeat NEVER happen again."
Toni sighed. "I just wanted to make sure you were okay."
"I'm perfect." Is the response she gets.
Toni rolled her eyes. "You're not okay."
Turning toward her, Cheryl narrows her eyes. "What would you know, Queen of the Buskers?"
Toni rolled her eyes. "I know a lot. I'm smarter than I look."
Sighing, Cheryl runs a hand through her hair. "Would you like to come in?"
Toni shook her head. "I just want to know if you're okay."
"Can you come in? We need to talk." Cheryl finally says after a moment.
Toni nodded. "If you want me to."
Nodding her head, Cheryl finally opens the door and looks back at Toni. "Come on."
Toni followed Cheryl.

"Full disclosure, you know I've never been with anyone before. When we slept together at the get together, we didn't use protection." Cheryl says, looking at Toni from where she was laying on her bed. "There is a chance that I much like a young Polly Cooper could be pregnant." the redhead says, rolling her eyes at the mention of her cousin who had also been with Jason.
Toni froze, she gulped. "You think you're pregnant or you know you're pregnant?"
Cheryl shrugs her shoulders. "It's a possibility."
"You need to do a test." Toni said.
Sighing, Cheryl moves toward her vanity and grabs the test from the drawer. "I will."
Toni nodded.
Heading into her bathroom, Cheryl shuts the door.
Toni sat down and waited for Cheryl.
Around ten minutes later, Cheryl was still in the bathroom.
Toni got up from her seat and made her way to the bathroom. She knocked on the door. "Cheryl?"
The redhead opens the door, tears rolling down her cheeks.
"Cheryl?" Toni asked.
"I'm pregnant." Cheryl breathes out.
Toni froze.
"Mother's going to kill me." The redhead barely gets out.
"You don't have to keep it." Toni said.
Tensing, Cheryl looks at Toni. "Is that what you want?"
"Yes." Toni said. "We are not old enough or mature enough to be parents."
Swallowing thickly, Cheryl looks down and nods her head. "I'll go to the doctor first to be sure." she whispers.
Toni nodded.
"I'm going to go call." The redhead says after a moment.
"Okay. I'm going to head back to school. Lunch is almost over." Toni said.
Cheryl just nods her head, moving further into her room. She pulled her phone out of her pocket and sighed when she heard the front door close.
