Chapter Fifteen

Four months later

"Alright everyone, time to dig in." Betty says as her and Cheryl place the last of the food on the table.

Cheryl smiles as she watches Toni walk in with JJ. "Happy Thanksgiving my love." she says softly to the serpent.

"Happy thanksgiving." Toni said. She looked at JJ in her arms. "Can you say happy thanksgiving JJ?"

The baby blinks up at her before speaking gibberish.

Toni laughed. "Good try."

Squealing, JJ kicks his feet.

Toni laughed again.

Cheryl moves over to them and kisses Toni gently. "I love you."

"I love you too." Toni said.

"Alright love birds, let's eat." Betty says, sitting down beside Jughead.

Toni looked at Jughead.

"What?" The dark haired teen asks through a mouthful of food.

Toni shook her head and moved over to the table with JJ in her arms.

JJ grunts softly and kicks his feet.

Toni put JJ in his seat.

"I made his plate, since he's so little it's only mashed potatoes and really small pieces of turkey." Cheryl says softly.

"He'll still enjoy it." Toni said.

Nodding her head, Cheryl puts the baby plate in front of JJ.

Toni sat beside his chair and began feeding him.

For only being ten months old, Jeremiah was always hungry. No matter what the food was.

Toni was smiling as she fed him.

"So, what are we doing for his birthday?" Veronica asks randomly. "Only two more months before he's a year old."

Toni shrugged.

Cheryl shifts and looks up. "I was thinking we could just have a party here."

Toni continued feeding her son.

"Only us and Aunt Alice, Mr. Andrew's, and FP." Cheryl continues softly.

Toni nodded. "Okay."

"Thanks for including my dad." Jughead says with a smile.

Archie nods his head. "Mine too."

Veronica laughs softly. "Thank god you didn't include my parents. Talk about unneeded drama."

Laughing softly, Cheryl nodded her head. "You're welcome guys."

"They are enjoying themselves." Archie said.

Veronica tilts her head to the side. "What?"

"Our parents." Archie said.

"My parents are idiots." Veronica responds.

Betty shifts. "My dad's in jail."

"My mom's a bitch and my dad is dead." Cheryl responds instantly.

Toni was silent as she fed JJ.

Shifting, Cheryl reaches over and places her free hand on Toni's leg.

Toni looked up at Cheryl.

The redhead sends her a soft smile.

Toni smiled back.
