Monday
Jacob just finished basketball and was walking along the halls of college bouncing his ball. He was going to grab something to eat at the mini cafeteria area in college to get a bottle of water and who does he run into in the queue...
"Heyy"
Jacob: [He rose his eyebrows] "Samantha... Wassup?"
Samantha: [She shrugged] "How are things with you Jacob?"
Jacob: "I mean... I'm chill. I'm coping but yk... I don't know mann. Just tryna keep busy and occupied"
Samantha: [She nodded] "Jacob, I'm soo sorry about Lucky"
Jacob: [He nodded] "Thank you... Shit happens. What can I say? It's nice seeing you tho"
Samantha: "You too Jacob [She smiled and she hugged him] See you around"
Jacob: "Yeaa..."
Samantha grabbed for her order and walked off. Jacob watched her walk away and bought a bottle of water
Paris and Reggie were leaving college to their ride home
Reggie: "To be honest I was thinking we fly out to Miami and just stay up there for a weekend"
Paris: [She laughed] "You aren't serious boy..."
Reggie: "Ain't no time wasting. Life's too short right? We still young and we've been through a tough time so why not baby?!"
Paris: "Cause... [She said playfully] I don't know. I plan on moving to New York as soon as we graduate. Graduation is in two weeks Reggie. I can't fit a weekend in Miami in my schedule babe"
Reggie: "Cmonnn Paris. You ain't gon leave me to fly out on my own shawty now"
Paris: "Reggie... Hunny you need to stop okay? I'm not going to fly out with you to Miami alright? So pleasee"
Reggie: "How about if I pay for the hotel and I'll cover everything else there. All you gotta pay for is flying out and back. Everything else is on me"
Paris looked at him like she was convinced about the idea but was distracted when she looked right past him as she peeped Jacob walking to his car. Reggie noticed she wasn't paying attention and turned to look back. Reggie frowned a little while Jacob caught them looking. A smile slowly crept on his face as Paris smiled back at him. He nodded to Reggie while Reggie's face wasn't soo friendly after all and he turns back to her
Reggie: "What y'all telepathically communicating with each other or something?"
Paris: [She looked at him and laughed] "Reggie pleasee!" [As she playfully nudges him]
Reggie: "What? Why didn't he just come over and say wassup instead of y'all smiling at each other like that in front of me. Didn't yo mama tell you that's straight up disrespectful"
Paris: [She rose an eyebrow] "Reggie take me home please" [She smiled]
Reggie shook his head and opened the door for her into the car. He went round on his side, reversing out the parking lot
