Chapter 22 | Paris's Second Therapy Session

Paris's POV
I've never been so busy like this past week. My schedules been so tight so much has happened I just need someone to talk to about it. It would do me some relief so... I called this therapist Jacob hooked me up with. Lisa and calling to arrange this meeting, already I like her and I can tell she's going to help me so much

I was in her little cute office. I felt at peace and comfortable. She poured me a coffee and sat me down on her couch

Lisa: "So... Paris! Btw you are a very beautiful young lady. Has anyone asked if you model?"

Paris: "Thankss, and uhh yea, I'm trying to get into that actually!" [She smiled]

Lisa: "Good on you girl. You look like you own it. Anyway [She giggled as Paris giggled too] So you want to start?"

Paris: "Yess... okay so I feel like I've been all over the place, recently. It just feels like a whole weight is just coming down on my shoulders. I work a job, and I'm actually boss of, my own salon company. Universal Vintage but I'm sharing the company with this man called Vincent. He put me on, and the opportunity is more than anything I've ever asked for but I'm not doing much as I expected. I don't know if it's cause I'm boss and there's only so much I can do or if..." [She smirked at Lisa, holding her tongue]

Lisa: "Don't worry, Paris. Take your time"

Paris: [She sighed] "I'm having sexual relations with my business partner, Vincent. He's always trying to...  you know... perform [She gestures] on me"

Lisa: [She rose an eyebrow] "Uh huh... What kind?..."

Paris: "He loves to go down on me. You know... eat me out"

Lisa: "Right!..." [She nodded with a surprised look on her face]

Paris: "Yeah [She chuckled in embarrassment as she covered her mouth] And I don't know I loove the pleasure. I honestly live for it. No one makes me feel as good as he does, and I have urges too! One thing I don't understand is why he enjoys it so much? Like okay, he can't catch a break! [She rolled her eyes in exhaustion] Everytime I'm working in my office he calls me over to his office and then that's when he... you know..."

Lisa: "Okay... it sounds like he has a little thing for a women's weak spot. Well unless you know, you two have had sex?"

Paris: "No... not that. I'm a virgin"

Lisa: [She rose an eyebrow] "...Really?"

Paris: "Yeah..." [She tightens her lips together with a smirk]

Lisa: "Well I'm surprised but I'm not. I will say this, you're a pretty girl and men will be tempted and will be sexually attracted to you, it's how you deal with that and take control of that. Make sure you're getting what you need out of that. And I don't mean all the time it has to be sexual but in your case you say he's going down on you right?"

Paris: "Well yeah..."

Lisa: "Well I think men are rather manipulative. Very manipulative. He's probably doing that to make you feel like you're special. Unique. Like he should serve you. Like you said, you feel pleasure. You feel he's great at it. And if his pleasure takes your focus off the job, he knows your weakness. That's why you feel like you're not doing much for the company while he could be satisfying you on the side he's making sure the company runs smooth in a sense for his favour. So you help him run the company but while he distracts you sexually he's also winning financially. Getting his moneys worth from your cut and his together. But he can't get his moneys worth unless you're helping work alongside with him since you both share the company's worth. That's what it sounds like. I've been there myself, Paris. But I could be right, I could be wrong. That's for you to analyse next time you go to work, and figure it out for yourself, since I've given you the slight insightful head start"

Paris: [She was astonished] "Wow... I never really thought of it like that. That actually makes a lot of sense to be honest..." [She looked to the ground in deep thought]

Lisa: "In this situation, I'm not going to push you to do wrong. But it's not wrong to take control as a young woman. He probably thinks he is your weakness too. But you could possibly manipulate that and take control. It doesn't have to be sexual, but simply with just business. In all honesty tho Paris, no man has no business getting sexual with his business partners, period. So he's wrong in that sense but I feel like you know exactly what you want. So do it, take control or quit the business. If you feel that it's not your worth though, because tbh I think you're worth way more than that"

Paris: "Awee... [She cooed] Thanks Lisa, I really needed that insight but also... I have other problems"

Lisa: [She smiled and nodded]

Paris: "College [She sighed] So college is stressing me out. Not only my studies but the people. The drama... All my life, I've been classed as this pretty popular girl. People ship and praise me like I'm a goddess and they barely know me. People attach my name to drama and stir my name in the mix of it and I'm so over it, it's soo draining. There's this boy, Maurice and... he's fancied me for as long as I can remember. He's tried getting with me time and time again, just to hook up. He hits on me but he really got me into a ball with this other guy, Lucky. I really liked Lucky but Maurice literally jeopardised our chances of getting to know one another, spreading false lies about me. Maurice told Lucky lies about how I was dying to get it on with him. That resulted with Lucky literally trying to snatch my panties off and I wasn't having it. We stopped talking and I realised that since then Maurice has been very much on me. And then him not admitting to what he said to Lucky. I don't know that really hurt. It just made me feel like, I genuinely can't trust any guy, period no matter how much they make out they care for me! I found out from Lucky himself because he apologised after how many years of avoiding me and I don't know it just hurts a lot. That Maurice would do me like that, after everything we've been through as friends like I don't get it"

Lisa: "Paris, when a boy likes you, he will do crazy things. More time those things will affect you, but things don't come as they seem. He obviously likes you but he's doing everything wrong. And when rejection comes into play well, you can only hope for the best, in a sense how you will treat you after that. Rejection is on his mind subconsciously so he's going to be stupid and do stupid things to hurt you but it's not intentional"

Paris: "But it's not my fault I don't like him. I can only be nice"

Lisa: "Exactly Paris. That is why you just gotta keep doing you. Things like this are bound to happen, you can't control someone's actions but you can control how you deal with them and chose how you move on and elevate from that. And I know that's what you're doing but you're just hurt that's all"

Paris: [She smiled curiously] "You're pretty great at this Lisa! Like wow, your perception of things, I don't know it just blows me. It really makes me want to think about things, deeper beyond the surface level of things"

Lisa: "Trust me hunny. I've been where you've been. I was the pretty popular girl everyone wanted too but I had better plans ahead of me. That I focused on. Now I have a husband, this job. And I'm happy..."

Paris: "I'm happy for you. That's all I want too, to just Elevate. Have my dream job, and have my own little family. A fine husband and beautiful kids"

Lisa: "You're along the right lines. You're heading in the right direction and you have that mindset but block all that drama to the side and do you! I promise it'll pay off in the end" [She smiled]

Paris: "Jacob wasn't lying when he said you're great at your job" [She chuckled]

Lisa: "Jacob?... You're a friend of his?"
