That night, Maurice was still up just when he got a text message from his secret hookup

Unknown: I'm fine

Maurice typing...

Maurice: Well I'm not. I wanna see you

...

Unknown: After you shot me?! You wanna hook up some more? Your blocked.

Maurice: No I mean to check on you. Make sure your recovering fine

Unknown: I told you already. I'm fine

Maurice: Please I just want to see you in person. That okay with you?

Then he was sent an address. He got up and left the apartment in a rush to get to the address

Friday

Paris's POV

It is a such a nice hot day. Today I went out with my girls just to hang out and catch up. After class we went to eat out at a restaurant...

It was the afternoon and Lucky and Jacob just finished their class. They headed over to Grub'Stop to get some lunch

Lucky: "So wassup with that therapist of yours?"

Jacob: [He shrugged] "Ion. She quit remember"

Lucky: "Yeah but you went to go see her the other day right?"

Jacob: "Nah"

Lucky: "Bruh, stop lyin"

Jacob: "I'm not..."

Lucky: "Yes you is bruh. Wassup? What happened? Tell me what's going on between you two man. All this time and you ain't tell me what's been happening"

Jacob: [He sighed] "Aight look. It's like this aight... but you gotta promise to never tell Paris.

Lucky: "Aight I won't tell her"

Jacob: [He let out a big sigh] "Yo Lisa mannn... she was mentoring me and the more sessions I had with her, the more intense it got. And it was sexual tension too. I don't know if it was me changing that caused all that sexual tension to rise to the surface or sum but she been my mentor since the beginning of my downfall. So that shii was like last year or so?... So imagine bruh she's watched me change into the man I am today and all those sessions we had, since I changed. Mann just thinking about it now bruh fr they been intense! She used to flirt with me alla time whether it was just light touches or small comments about how cute or how sweet I was. Came back a changed man and I was handsome to her. So I don't know my confidence wanted to test out the waters, to see what she'd do. How far she'd let me go. I basically got the best of myself and I might've been a little hard on her cause I guess I made her nervous and I'm telling you mann... Lucky she was feelin it mann. I didn't expect she'd let me go as far as I did tho"

Lucky: "Nigga you made a move on her?!"

Jacob: [He nodded] "I mean that sounds a little fast but yea I made a move... And from then I knew what I needed to know. I think the last session I had with her she was being all salty with me, acting like I did sum outta line. Basically she said she wants to stop mentoring me and things went all left from then. That day Paris said she quit too, so went on down to her office and I met up with her to discuss what's going on cause I'm a lil lost, you feel me but she just kept shutting me down, talking about how I'm feeling is all in my head. It's all me, blaming me. Idk tbh I think she's just in denial I feel and she feels 10x worse  admitting it now cause she's divorced now. So having whatever she has for me would be 10x more fucked up. But I really do care about her tho"
