When Jacob made it late to work everybody was curious as to why he was so excited. Hyper. In the mood. Wesley pulled him aside for a second

Wesley: "What's up son, everything okay?"

Jacob: "Yeaa I'm chill [He chuckled] Why you ask?"

Wesley: "Cause... yk I understand it's still a tough time after your friend so I'm just keeping tabs on you. Making sure you good son? Cause rn you happy happy"

Jacob: [He smiled] "I sure am..."

Wesley: "Only thing that can get a young man smiling like that is a young pretty woman"

Jacob: [He laughed] "You nosey ash ain't you?"

Wesley: [He laughed and patted his shoulder] "Son what can I say, welcome to the world of women!"

Tuesday

After Paris's lecture, she stopped by her girls apartment on campus. Terri and Riya had lectures in the meantime Shaniqua was free to catch up with Paris

Shaniqua: "You and Jacob?!"

Paris: [She slowly nodded with a smile on her face] "I wasn't going to tell you because y'all have big mouthes but your my girl and Graduation is literally around the corner"

Shaniqua: [She shook her head] "I'll be honest, you two are perfect for each other girl"

Paris: [Her face lit up like 'really?'] "You think?"

Shaniqua: "Hell yeaa! I can tell you two have a lot of chemistry. You've been hanging with him a lot this year and you two do a lot together. I wish I had that but no, the dudes I be messing with are a waste of my damn time!"

Paris: [She nodded] "You know what I think girl... I just think you need to focus on yourself. Focus on bettering yourself and future then find yourself a man! You've been messing with so many guys from our college and I'm surprised you aren't exhausted sis, honestly" [She shook her head in disbelief]

Shaniqua: [She sighed] "I can't even argue with you on that girl. Your right! I really need to get my life together. We're growing up so fast and a few weeks from now, we'll be pursuing our dreams"

Paris: "You know you hold a special place booboo and you already know you're more than welcome when I get settled in New York"

Shaniqua: [She nodded and sighed] "If you and Jacob are slowly progressing how are y'all going to work out"

Paris: [She froze for a second] "...I really don't know. I don't even know what's going on rn tbh. We haven't actually established what we're doing. We're just testing out the waters but I feel it's serious already but I don't know..."

Shaniqua: "Girl you should talk to him, seriously! Don't complicate it by not talking things over so you two can get freaky deaky. Don't complicate it more than it already is. You started off as friends and now y'all are-..."

Paris: "Wait, we ain't fucking sis! We haven't done that yet"

Shaniqua: "Yet?!" [She made a face]

They both laughed

Paris: "Honestly... I know what I'm doing. It's just him. We've made out and I told him it isn't the right time but he was just... on me! Like he came on me soo hard I couldn't resist knowing my feelings for him are soo strong!"

Shaniqua: "Ouu you saying he's wild?!"

Paris: "Girl... He's been so wild on mee! I don't know if it's because of everything that's happened but it's like something has switched him on. He came over yesterday and that's when things got a little steamy between us and I asked him why? Like why now basically and he told me he's come to his senses"
