Chapter 90 | "Lets Go For That Walk Then"

Into the afternoon/evening Paris was at her girls apartment to spend their very last day together. They had their stuff packed especially Paris. She had everything she needed... They had a blast as TJ and Darnell happened to join them too

Wednesday

Jacob was packing away as he got a phone call from someone he got in contact with from Miami. Jacob happened to try and book himself another holiday to get away from everything before his new journey away from home somewhere in the city. He chose to work in an office after all but before he begins, he was in need for a fresh break for a fresh start. His mom knew about his plans and was scared to let him go but trusted he'd be okay. Jacob got himself packing

In the middle of packing his mum came up to his room

Jacob's Mom: "Jacob I'm so proud of you. You've come all this way. I know I haven't been there for you all the times you needed me the most. I'm sorry about that. I noticed yesterday wasn't your best of days but I hope you know... I don't know if it's the right time to say this because Lucky isn't here but your friends are still here for you. I spoke to Paris yesterday and Jacob... I can't stress enough how much you two need each other right now. Whatever it is... holding you to back from reaching out. Neither of you have the time left, so while you have that little time now. Sort it out! That girl cares about you so much and I know you do Jacob! I know you do! You aren't the same without her. I thought I'd just remind you of that"

Jacob: [He was still packing] "You seen my rucksack momma?"

Jacob's Mom: "... It's in the storage room"

Jacob went looking for it, continuing to ignore what she's just said. He grabbed his suitcase that he'd already packed and took it downstairs then went to the spare storage room to grab for his rucksack. The door bell rings and Jacob's Mom comes walking down slowly. Jacob pops his head out and looks at his Mom slowly walking down with a smirk on her face. Jacob shook his head and went over to open it and there is

"Hey Jacob"

Jacob turns back to his mom while she makes funny faces, power walking on into the kitchen. Jacob turned back to her

Jacob: [He shook his head with a smirk on his face] "What's up? You okay?"

She nods with a little smile. They both say interrupting each other at the same time and chuckle

Jacob: "Nah you go head"

Paris: "Well... I just came over just to kinda say my final goodbyes. I'm leaving tomorrow. I have my apartment ready and yea. I thought it would be best to kinda just... [Shrugs anxiously] I don't know. I don't know what I'm saying right now" [She laughs nervously]

Jacob: [He slowly nods] "... Look er. It's a nice day. I don't know if you're doing anything but you wanna go for a walk?"

Paris: [She smiled nodding]

Jacob: [He chuckled] "Aight... Let's go for that walk then"

Paris: "So you're planning to leave to go to Miami?"

Jacob: "Yeah I needa get outta this place. Need a break after everything. It's only best yk"

Paris: [She nodded] "Well I'm happy for you..."

Jacob: "Thank you..."

...

Paris: "Jacob..."

Jacob: "..."

Paris: "What do you thinks going to happen to us?"

Jacob: "I mean I'll reach out you feel me? Check to see how you're doing"

Paris: [She nodded] "... But what if that... isn't enough?"

Jacob: "What you mean? You wanted to start a new life didn't you?"

Paris: "Yea ofc I do but if it's not with you then I don't necessarily know"

Jacob: "What you tryna say?"

Paris: "...Jacob, you know what I want to say. You know what I want but for a change it would be nice to know what you think?"

They both paused. He looked down at her. They both just looked into each others eyes, getting lost

Jacob: "I care about you Paris. I would do anything to protect you and be there for you but it seems things get messy along the way. Shit is already complicated between you and I. Look I think it's best we just go along with our true intentions and that's to just live our lives separately"

Paris: [She shook her head] "You don't mean that"

Jacob: "Maybe it's best. Who knows unless we try..."

Paris: "You're full of surprises Jacob.... [She chuckled] I don't feel a way that's the thing. If that's how you really feel then fine but that isn't the case, is it Jacob? Jacob... I know things are scary... these feelings but I know it's not one sided. I know you have feelings for me too but you just keep pushing me away. Before you just admit it you'd rather push me away. I'm not pushing you away Jacob. After everything I'm still here. I'll always be here no matter how much you push me away Jacob. Like I love you. I can't live without you Jacob! I can't"

Jacob's POV
She dropped the L word and no matter how much I don't wanna hear this. She's right. My ego tho... can get the best of me. I feel weak for not just telling her how I really feel. She shouldn't of had to do all that but she did, regarding of our friendship. Says a lot about her and a lot about me😪 Damn she's special but can I risk it?

Jacob: "I spoke with Lisa. All in all yea... I really really liked Lisa. I wanted to be with her but she taught me a few things about women that actually want what they want. She could've had me but she ain't fight for me like you is right now. I cut my ties with her and it hurt me to do it but it was only for the best. Now you... [He laughed] Yo, I love you so much girl. Fr and maybe I'm scared. Maybe I am but you right... You put your neck on the line..."

Jacob laughs a little too hard as Paris joins

Paris: "What?"

Jacob: [He shook his head] "My moms been wanting us to get together for the longest"

Paris and him laughed harder

Jacob: "Yea umm sometimes I have to question who she's there more for me and you. But now I realise it's only so she could see us together. That's all she's ever wanted. That's all I ever wanted. Paris all I've ever wanted is for you to be by me. Friend or not. I just want you there. So since we confessed our feelings and the L word... um"

They both laugh

Jacob: "What you tryna do? You still tryna leave tomorrow?"

Paris: [She tears up with a big smile on her face] "Well maybe you prefer a plus one on your trip to Miami"

Jacob: [His eyebrows rose] "Fr? You tryna come with me?"

Paris: [Tears were falling down her face as she laughed]

Jacob: "Aight... it's a trip with the only women I love, plus my momma"

Paris laughed as Jacob pulls for her a hug "Come ere girl". She holds him so tight while he does the same and they rock side to side

Paris: "I'm so proud of you baabyy" [With her arms wrapped round him. She leaned back a little to get a good glimpse of him as they peck slowly into a nice passionate kiss]
