Hades dragged his feet towards the door, reaching out for the handle with his keys when he to noticed it was already open.
He pushed the door further into the house and stepped in, glancing around until his eyes dropped to the floor, only to spot the feminine heels amongst the pile of his shoes and his housemate's.
Quietly closing the door behind him, he locked it -- as his friend should have in the first place-- and walked straight into the living room, where he noticed the TV talking to itself with his friend, Morris, completely immersed in the sleeping curse on the couch with his girlfriend laying on top of him.
Both in deep drenching slumber.
He ignored them both this time as he would usually smack Morris awake to turn the screen off.
He was only spared because Morris's girlfriend was there and he didn't want to disturb her.
He walked out of the living room once he turned the TV off and walked up the stairs to his room.
The heaviness in his eyes got the better of him the moment his head touched his pillow.
Hardly closing his door or even getting under the covers, he instantly fell victim to the curse from the warmth radiating from the thermostat Morris had probably turned on a while back.

Still feeling the sleep eat at his eyes, Hades still had to get up.
So the first thing he did was get out of bed and head down stairs for the kitchen, plotting to make himself some coffee before taking a shower.
"Oh, you came back." Was the first thing Morris said as he noticed Hades walk through the arch and into the kitchen. "Thought you slept at Lilith's."
"We're not dating." Hades sighed, clearly not amused with what came out of his mouth as he walked towards the coffee machine, grabbing a mug in the cabinet just above his head. "Yet."
"Okay." Morris chuckled out as he continued to fry some eggs, knowing the truth a little too well. "Why were you late anyway?"
"Was helping her with some work." Hades nodded as he watched the coffee machine work its magic. "Took me two hours."
"I bet she at least hugged you after that." Morris wiggled his brows as he glanced towards Hades with a devious grin, only to drop it the instant Hades shook his head in denial.
"As a matter of fact, she even left without telling me." He sighed out, leaning onto the counter. "I was so confused when I noticed her office locked and the lights turned off. I know she hates me but I helped her out and she would have at least said goodbye or left a text."
"If I were you, I'd give up." Morris rolled his eyes as he felt his girlfriend's arms wrap around his waist before her head leaned against his back, the clear display of affection rotting his eyes. "You've tried for three weeks now and it's clear she won't forgive you."
"It's just three weeks." Hades assured himself as he poured himself some coffee into his mug. "She talked more than she ever did to me yesterday and complimented the coffee I made her. I think if I keep this up-" he paused once he turned and noticed Morris's girlfriend, Nora, hardly wearing anything expect an oversized hood that still exposed her lower section. "-if I keep this up she might forgive me and we could... Work it out." He nodded to himself as he sat on the island bar stools while Nora glanced at him with a mute expression.
