Struggling to peel his eyes open, Hades could only feel the sharp sting of his head throbbing inside of him from all the alcohol he drunk the other night.
He leaned from the couch he had slept on all night and glanced around himself, only to spot Morris sitting cross legged on the floor in front of him, staring intensively as he crushed the many crisps in his mouth.
"What time is it?" Hades asked as he reached his hand up to his head, stroking his temple.
"Eleven." Morris replied as a grin spread across his face, noticing Hades' horrified gaze.
"Why didn't you wake me up!?" He hissed as he stood up, only to flinch and fall back.
"You seemed tired." Morris shrugged his shoulders as he crumpled the bag of chips into a ball after finishing it. "Plus your hungover doesn't seem to be leaving anytime soon."
"I have work you bastard." Hades rolled his eyes and sighed out as he leaned back into the seat. "My uncle will murder me if he finds out I'm skipping work because of a hungover."
"Call in sick. It always works." Morris said as he stood up and walked towards the coffee table covered with junk food.
"Why are you eating all that in the morning?" Hades asked with raised brows as Morris opened a box of biscuits. "Isn't Nora making breakfast?"
"I left her home before I got here." He shrugged and shoved the biscuits further into his mouth. "I'm going to be out. For the entire day. So she's getting ready."
"I don't want to know what you'll be doing-"
"We'll go to a restaurant first and have brunch, cause I'm dangerously hungry. Then I'll take her to get a photoshoot for her instagram, she's been nagging about some viral underwear thing, but believe me, it's not viral at all and a hell lot expensive. Then we'll spend our day shopping, for her specifically, she wants to renew her entire wardrobe, then to a party in the evening. You should drop by after. It starts at ten. At eight of course but who goes that early?"
"Hm." Is all Hades said as he reached for his phone in his pocket. "My uncle will seriously get on my neck. It's a Friday. It's so suspicious to get sick on a Friday."
"Sound sick when you're making the call then. It always works."
"Everything always works to you." Hades rolled his eyes and tapped his uncles number before placing it to his ear. "Now shut up, I'm making a call."
"Sure." Morris rolled his eyes as he finished his box and reached for a box of oreo.
"Oh, uh.... Good morning...." Hades trailed off as he glanced at Morris who raised his brows and mouthed him to act sick. "Yeah... Um... I don't feel too good today... I've be having really bad headaches.... Oh no, its not because I drunk, I didn't drink yesterday. I had a really bad headache yesterday and I felt faint, I ended up sleeping on the couch and it's gotten worse since I didn't get a blanket, now it feels like a flue, something like that..." Hades pressed his lips together as he waited for his uncle's reply. "Alright. Bye."
"Well, what did he say?" Morris asked as he finished his box and tossed it aside.
"He said 'get well soon' and that he would send someone to get me medication." Hades sighed out and bit his lower lip as he glanced down to his laps. "He probably knows I'm lying."
"But he still excused you anyway. Enjoy your time. Having said that, I need to leave now. She just texted me that she's done." Morris winked as he stood up and walked towards fhe doof.
"Okay, have fun."
"As always."
"No need to rub it in, Morris." Hades rolled his eyes as he forced himself off the couch and flinched again at the raging pain still in his head.
He stumbled his way up the flight of stairs, feeling his head get worse with the more steps he took, feeling dreadfully sick.
Before he made it half way up the stairs, he stopped and turned back, heading towards the kitchen instead, planning to get his stomach filled before hitting the sack.
He lazily walked over to the sink and pulled out a tray of eggs and some vegetables to go with it. He turned to his stove and lit it up as he broke a few eggs and stirred them entirely before dropping the mixture into a frying pan with some onions, spice and small cubes of his vegetable pick into it, making himself an omelet.
Whilst the omelet was sizzling, he turned to the toaster and dropped in some buttered bread, letting it crisp up before turning back to the omelet and throwing in some cheese.
Once it was all done, he neatly placed them onto the plate and poured himself some apple juice in a tall glass.
A great breakfast, enough to drive his hangover faster than an empty stomach.
He sat himself down and was about to grab a bite when the doorbell rang throughout the entire house.
Probably the caretaker his uncle sent him.
Could likely be one of the many housemaids he has.
