C23: magic Tricks

"She wasn't rushing to anywhere, she just chocked like a normal person would." Nora said as she slid his plate and bowl to him. "After hearing terrible news."

"What terrible news?" Hades asked as he glanced at Lilith with raised brows.

"Nothing." Lilith said as she continued to eat, this time, slower than before as the burn ached her lungs.

"I warned her I would kill her if she was toying with your feelings." Nora smiled charmingly as though to get Hades to thank her for being protective over him, but instead, Hades frowned, deeply.

"Why would you assume she would?" Hades defended and Nora frowned. "She's not that type of person."

"How would you know." Nora rolled her eyes and turned her gaze to Lilith who didn't want to make eye contact with her. "I know you'll defend her even if I say she was a man."

"Because she's not." Hades rolled his eyes as he took a sip from his juice. "I have proof."

Lilith nearly chocks again but presses her lips together not to let off a sound, luckily the rice didn't deceive her this time.

"We heard it." Nora grinned out teasingly and Hades smiled slightly before turning his attention back to his food, still feeling the after wave of emotions in his body from last night, wanting to ask her how it went but not wanting to make it seem awkward. He's got her right in the palm of his hand but one wrong move and she disappears. "Plus your neck, Hades, it looks painful."

Hades reached his fingers up to his neck as Lilith turned a sharp gaze in shock as she had forgotten about telling him to wear a scarf or a turtle neck.

"What's wrong with it?" Hades asked as he got up and walked towards the mirrored fridge, only to gasp lowly at the slightly visible bite marks and the hickey bruises on his skin. "Oh."

"What are you, a vampire?" Nora asked as she glanced towards Lilith who ran a hand through her hair and looked away in embarrassment.

"I didn't mean to." She whispered lowly as she pressed her knees together and glanced down at them.

"We're not agaisnt you." Nora said with a small chuckle as Hades walked back to the seat with a devilish grin on his face.

Simply more evidence she had enjoyed his service.

"If we were, I would also be agaisnt Hades whose left marks on you too." Nora said and Hades glanced at Lilith's neck in surprise that he didn't notice. "Unless you want the public to know what went down, you'll have to spend the day here, Lilith." Nora said with a chuckle and grin as Hades glanced at her, only to have her wink at him and he knew what she was up to.

Genius, he thought as he smirked back at her.

"It's a Saturday too, you can leave on Monday." Hades said as he turned his gaze to Lilith who slowly glanced at him, only to feel her cheeks warm up from the softness in his eyes.

"Or, you can just move in." Nora said in a mummer as she glanced around aimlessly.

"I guess....." Lilith shrugged her shoulders and glanced down to her place, confused at why she was suddenly feeling nervous.

"About moving in?" Nora asked and Hades shot her a glare.

"Shut up." Hades rolled his eyes at her. "Don't make her uncomfortable."

"It was a suggestion." She shrugged her shoulders and smiled sheepishly, getting Hades to smile at her too.

"Good morning!" Morris chimed into the kitchen as he had just walked in and rushed over to his girlfriend, instantly planting a couple of kisses on her cheek and shoulder, getting her to giggle a bit before he sat down. "I missed you." He told Nora who smiled at him.

"I know." She giggled and Hades rolled his eyes with a deep sigh.

"So, what did I miss?" Morris asked as he glanced towards Lilith and Hades with a sinister smirk.

"Nothing." Hades said as he just finished his meal and stood up, grabbing his juice and chugging it down. "I'm going to take a bath."

"No need to point it out." Morris said with a small smile. "Unless Lilith wants to join."

"I already showered." Lilith said quietly and Hades glared at Morris who shrugged his shoulders.

"Who said you can't shower again?" Morris smirked and Hades sighed out as he walked around the table and reached out, grabbing his ears and pulling them apart. "Ouch! Fine, I'm sorry!"

"Learn to shut your mouth sometimes." Hades hissed and Morris chuckled slightly as Lilith stared at them both.

"I don't mind." Lilith spoke out, grabbing everyone's attention.

"You'll shower with him?" Nora asked excitedly and Lilith clenched her jaw, feeling embarrassed that they were trying to plan very erotic situations for Hades and her.

".... That's what I meant." Lilith said in a mummer, getting Hades to raise his brows at her as he felt a nervous chill up his spine, getting a little excited.

"Alright. Go get a shower, make it long and hot." Nora chuckled with a wink as Lilith stood up with blazing cheeks as she clenched her fists.

"Nora don't say things like that." Hades sighed as he redirected his gaze to Lilith who's eyes were focused on the table.

"I'm going ahead." Lilith said in a low tone before rushing out of the kitchen, not wanting to be there any longer.

"She's blushing." Morris chuckled the moment Lilith left the room, with her feet running up the stairs echoing back into the room. "She's actually blushing."

"She's just uncomfortable." Hades rolled his eyes with a playful smile.

"We heard her from a mile away. I think you caught the spider in its own web." Morris chuckled. "She even tinted your whole neck."

"And his back." Nora said as she had just noticed the scratch marks visible on the edges of the vest. "Was she trying to tear you apart?" Nora gasped as she checked under the vest and noticed the red lines. "Doesn't it hurt?"

"I can feel it now, but not much." Hades said with a proud grin as he let Morris see too.

"Damn." Morris sighed out and glanced at Hades who chuckled. "What special tricks does a six year starved man have?" Morris said with raised brows as Hades winked and walked towards the stairs. "Hades I'm serious, I want to know!"

"I don't have any tricks." Hades shrugged and smiled before waving him off as he disappeared.
