Hades sighed out in boredom as he walked towards the door, feeling the starvation roam his stomach.
He reached the door and reached out for the handle, opening it fully with an irritated expression when he stepped back in shock as his eyes landed on Lilith's brown gaze.
He sent Lilith? Hades thought with wide eyes as Lilith stared back with raised brows.
She didn't seem to be coming from work, she was dress in a white dress printed with sunflowers here and there.
"Oh... Hi.." He trailed off when she furrowed her brows at him and glanced around, seeming confused. "Did my uncle send you?"
"Yes, otherwise I wouldn't be here." She said as she glanced back at him, getting him to frown a little. "So, are you going to let me in?"
"Oh." He stepped aside and smiled slightly, knowing she somewhat still wants to be around. Knowing the usual Lilith, she would have most definitely just given him whatever his uncle sent her to give. "Sure come in."
She nodded and walked past him, entering the large building. Her eyes widened as she stared at the expensive furniture and small paintings just in the small corridor.
She personally wouldn't waste her money decorating her corridor.
"So." Hades started as he watched her stop at a photo. "Where you at work or....?"
"Why ask?" She asked, hardly glancing at him as she shifted her gaze towards another photo instead.
"You don't seem dressed for work." Hades shrugged as he closed the door and walked towards her ever so slowly.
"I wasn't at work." She shrugged her shoulders and sighed as she glanced towards him with a slight frown. "I was mugged yesterday and lost my credit card and my phone. So your uncle gave me a free day today to get back my stuff but apparently I had to come take care of you."
"You were mugged!?" Hades asked in terror as he noticed her calm expression.
"I was lying. I wasn't mugged." She rolled her eyes and returned her gaze towards the photo. "He offered me a free day if I came by and dropped your medication and probably check on you." She shrugged her shoulders and turned her gaze back to him. "I can tell you were lying."
"I had a lot to drink yesterday." He shrugged his shoulders and nodded slightly as he ran his hand through his hair.
"I can tell." She nodded and pressed her lips together. "That's why I didn't bother getting to the clinic. I just bought some chicken soup, cheese pasta and cupcakes maybe." She shrugged her shoulders as she glanced down at the bag she was carrying. "Some stand was selling couple cupcakes and she begged me for buy them to the point I had no choice. She made me buy a set of four cupcakes in a box. So you might just share it with your friends." She shrugged and held the bag out to him. "I have to go."
"Wait... Now?" He asked and she furrowed her brows.
"Why not?"
"I mean... Can't you stay over for a bit?" He chuckled uncomfortably as he reached for the bag. "Did you have breakfast?"
"How would I even when your uncle asked me to deliver asap." She frowned deeply. "Unless you're feeling desperate enough, just the cupcake is enough for me."
"I could make you breakfast, I was actually just making some." He said and she stared at him for a moment, contemplating if she should even accept his offer. "Please?" He asked with begging eyes and she sighed out, nodding slowly.
"But I still really want the cupcake." She shrugged and turned, getting him to grin out as he held back a laugh.
"You'll have it after. I promise." He chuckled as she made her way into the kitchen that wasn't far from the door and easy to find.
She walked over to the counter and sat where he was previously sitting, spotting the plate with the readily made breakfast.
Without asking, she grabbed the fork already on plate and took a bite of the omelet, almost gasping at the taste. The mixture of cheese, vegetables, spices and the egg itself was outstanding.
"Oh yeah, you can have that." He nodded as he placed the bag onto the counter, watching as she took huge bites. A small smile spread across his lips as he noticed how comfortable she was whilst eating the omelet.
Feeling the stare on her, she turned her eyes towards him.
"Oh.... Did you want some?" She asked as she leaned back and cleared her throat. "I was just really hungry."
"You can have all of it." He shrugged his shoulders. "I'll make another one."
"Oh, no." She shook her head as she got up from her seat and walked towards the cupboards. She pulled a few open, until she found the drawer of utensils. She grabbed one and walked back to the island table before holding out the fork. "We've got soup and pasta with dessert. It's a lot, so we can share the breakfast."
"You're staying over?" He asked hopefully as he circled the table and got to her within seconds, grabbing the fork before sitting down. "Like until lunch?"
"Until I eat the cupcake." She shrugged her shoulders and shoved the plate to the spot between them.
"Sounds good to me." He smiled and reached his fork down to the plate grabbing a piece before sticking it into his mouth.
