C22: Defensive Nora

A frown made its way to Lilith lips as she lay facing the ceiling with the sun beaming softly through the curtains.

It was around six in the morning and she was already up, since she always woke up during then.

She turned to her side where she could see Hades dead sleep and laying on his stomach with his head facing her. They were both entirely undressed, exposing pure evidence of the previous night.

Lilith, having never felt that elevated from her body couldn't numb it down a bit and ended up leaving slight scratch marks on his back on top of all the bite marks and hickeys she left on his neck and shoulders. She also had a few marks all over her skin. Countless hickeys covered her neck and shoulders, that was it. She was the one that inflicted more damage he was bound to notice once he gets in the shower.

A small tear escaped her eye and she quickly ran her fingertips to wipe it off before it could get to the pillow. She then got up and glanced around herself as she let the blanket slide down her chest and rest at her laps before shoving them off and getting up, heading towards the shower as Hades remained dead asleep.

She took a quick short shower before stepping back out and walking into the room, only to feel her foot press agaisnt something soft and brittle on the ground. Her eyes followed the sensation as she lifted her foot, only to find the perfectly sealed packet Morris handed Hades, getting her to widen her eyes as she realized they had completely gone bare and neither of them noticed.

She could blame Hades for not being too kin and responsible but it wasn't his fault, she was the one holding it before it might have slipped through her fingers.

A sigh escaped her lips but she didn't really mind that much, it wasn't the only option there was to stop her from getting pregnant.

All she had to do was take a pill in time.

She walked to his closet and pulled out one of his many shirts, measuring it with her body.

Since he didn't have much that could fit her, she simply wore a baggy shirt and his sweat pants from last night that she could simply tag the waist band to adjust her waist. Once she was completely dressed, she walked out of the room and closed the door ever so lightly before heading to the stairs.

Running frantically as she envisioned the night with Hades, just another embarrassing sight to endure, all she could do was run away from the place, never to talk to him with the numbing feeling in her stomach-

Oh.... She was just heading to the kitchen.

In the Kitchen, she spotted Nora already preparing the breakfast she wanted to make for everyone, since she was in someone's house, the least she could do was serve them breakfast.

"Oh! you scared me!" Nora whined as she reached her hand to her chest when she turned around and spotted Lilith who remained at the door, staring at her. "Don't be so quiet."

"Sorry." Was all Lilith said and Nora sighed out before smiling at her slightly.

"Are you hungry?"

"I thought I'd be the one making your breakfast." Lilith shrugged her shoulders as she walked to the island table and took a seat on one of the chairs. "I guess you beat me to it."

"It's fine. I always make the breakfast, if not, the Morris does, Hades has never cooked in his life." She chuckled as she turned to the stove were her eggs were done boiling. "Well, we can't let him cook, he lets Morris stay over for free."

"Oh." Lilith nodded slowly and watched as Nora placed a few of her work in a small bowl before turning to Lilith and placing it in front of her.

Inside the bowl was a bit of rice, two boiled eggs and scrambled eggs. But that wasn't the only thing she made, she placed a plate beside Lilith's bowl and it was of  golden buttered toast and a glass of juice.

"Wow." Lilith cleared her throat as she glanced up at the grinning Nora. "It smells great, looks good but... Isn't this too much?"

"No it's not." She shook her head as she leaned from the counter and began to serve her potion before sitting just across the table from Lilith. "You had a rough night, you need the nourishment." With that, she set Lilith's cheeks ablaze, forcing her to glance from Nora and down to her food instead.

"H-How do you know....?" She asked, tucking her slightly wet hair to her ear as Nora chuckled.

"Morris sleeps just across the room, we could hear you even though I know you were trying not to." She chuckled and Lilith pressed her lips together and began to shove food into her nervous stomach. "Though, I'd like to thank you, you know, for giving Hades a chance." She said and Lilith glanced up at her with raised brows, only to notice the slightly pitiful expression on Nora's face.

"Why thank me?" She asked as she straightened her back.

"Hades has always had an obsession over you. He'd always talk about you and how much hell he goes through everyday, just to impress you, the way his colleagues would secretly laugh or talk about his desperation for you, but even when we tried to tell him to just find someone else, Hades wouldn't even listen, he said he'd keep trying to finally call you his. And you actually gave him a chance." She said and Lilith paused as she stared at her, only to have Nora frown slightly as she studied Lilith's confused expression. "I really hope you didn't just use him."

"I...." She trailed off and cleared her throat a little as she swallowed the food inside her mouth. "I don't just use people. I'm not that kind of woman."

"Good." Nora smiled and sighed out as she began to eat her food, getting Lilith to frown a little and begin to eat hers as well. "Because I will brutally murder you if you are." She continued after a while and Lilith chocked out as a rice grain rushed into her windpipe. She coughed as she reached for the juice glass and took a struggled sip since she was still trying to cough it out.

"Are you okay?" A gentle hand reached out and patted her back, trying to help her get rid of the grain and she finally did, getting her to clear her throat. "No need to rush, it's a Saturday." Hades chuckled as he took a seat beside her while Nora got up to get his serving.
