It was crashing that woke John up, well, he wasn't really sleeping to begin with.
He shot out of bed and out of his bedroom to see Silas and Carson emerge from their rooms across from him.
He ran to the living room to see two figures struggling.
A person in all black and...Quinn.
The stranger was restraining Quinn and dragging her towards the door, then saw the three of them standing there.
"Let me go!!" Quincy yelled, putting up a fight
The stranger pulls out a gun that made them freeze.
Pointing the gun to Quinn's head, he yelled, "Move she dies! I'm warning you!", he dug the gun into her head.
Quinn pulled slightly against the man, but her eyes conveyed for him to listen to the intruder.
John slowly lifted his hands in surrender, "Just give me back my daughter, and you can have anything in the home".
The man scoffed, his British accent coming out, "And give up Starks last bit of will he left to her? Absolutely not!".
The door opens, revealing another black figure, who grabbed Quinn.
She yelled in protest and John asked, "What do you mean 'Starks last bit of will'? As in Tony Stark?".
Quinn, being grabbed by the other figure, disappeared from the doorway.
The man shook his head, pointing the gun at the three of them with the boys wanting to bolt after Quinn and John wanting to sock the man.
"You have no idea who your daughter is, do you?", he asked sincerely.
Silence came from the family.
"Well,", he put the gun down, walking backwards out the door, "your about to find out".
The man closed the door, leaving the family in shock.
"Dad...." Silas's trembling voice cut through the eerie quiet.
"What do we do? Quinn, she's-"
"I know son, I-I don't know what to do...".
He sank into the couch with his head in his hands.
"We need to call the police-" Carson went to grab the phone when Silas grabbed his arm
"Itll take days for them to get to the incident report...with all the new people we're...we're more likely to find her with lost person signs" his voice wobbled and broke at the end.
They weren't sure how long they sat there on the couch, maybe an hour before there was a knock on the door. John stood up and open the door.
A black man in a long trench coat and eyepatch stood with his arms behind his back.
"Hello Mr. Ketchum, I'm here for Quincy Ketchum by request of Stark Industries".
John shook his head, "She's not here, someone took her, I-I".
Fury walked in with other people in tac suits following.
"I understand Mr. Ketchum, well find her. Well need to look around for evidence".
John nodded mutely as they search.
Some time later, a young woman approached with three packages in brown wrapping.
"We couldn't find much," her California accent coming out strong, "but we did find these addressed to you three among her belongings".
She handed the packages to them, but John was too numb to open his.
"A Stark phone and computer? Why did Quinn have these?" Silas asked.
The young woman seemed to tense slightly, "Your sister was a close friend to Anthony Stark during the blip, and she was in his will to help take care of Stark Industries, but will try and find her".
John nodded to the woman as she walked away, looking down at her own package.
They walked out of the apartment, to the quinjet where Mac was waiting for her final goodbye.
Mac have a light hug to Tony, who was still doing ghost touches, "I gonna miss you idiot..".
Tony smiled at their best friend endearment's, "I'll miss you more, moron", hugging her a little tighter than she normal would.
She gave Mac a Stark phone, "My contact is in it, but I'll be calling regularly, I promise ".
Mac smiled, put a hand on Tony's shoulder and spoke with a somber voice,"Take care of your self, okay Tony? Promise me that .."
Tony blushed slightly, only people who've known him for years ever made him make that promise.
"I'll do my best, Makalya", she said with a slight smile.
Mac nodded and waved goodbye, leaving Tony and Fury outside the quinjet with the tac team inside a streamline jet.
Fury was amazed at how flawlessly Tony lied to the family, it almost bought him.
Standing side by side with her alone in front of the quinjet, he asked where she got the voice emulator.
Tony smirked widely," You just have to wait till we take off to find out ", she turned and walked up the ramp, "your knees may fail you".
Fury huffed , not believing a word he-she said.
'Damn, that's going to take some getting used to'.
He walked up the ramp, following Tony.
He walked into the cockpit, setting autopilot for their next destination.
The jet listed off, and Fury looked expectantly at Tony, who activated the stones on her wrist.
Fury fell on his ass as the stones floated to him.
"Hello Director Fury, I'd say it's a pleasure to see you again, but it's not, not in the slightest" Mind spoke tersely.
" Mind spoke for me eyepatch, and I would be careful with her, she's salty".
She looked to Reality and Time, " And you two, nice work, I actually thought there was a person grabbing me".
She pulled out another Stark phone,
" Mind and Soul, can you please heal their emotional and mental wounds from this experience, and i need to make arrangements so that they will never have to worry about another thing in their lives"
Fury watches with amazement, still in the ground-but there is dread pooling in stomach.
" This may be a problem..."
Tony looks at him with confusion in her eyes, "What do you mean by that?"
What is Fury talking about? Well...let's say this is about to get interesting....
