Tony called May Parker and....updated her to some extent.
Just that she was Tony Stark and how she would like for Peter to stay with her for a few days during spring break.
May surprisingly agreed, though Tony thinks that Peter already told May about her.
She walked back into the living room, "Alright, time for the best game there is".
She walked to a cupboard to get decks of cards.
"Strip Poker?", Clint asked, because that's what Stark would always say before they played.
Tony turned and raised an eyebrow at him, "No...Nerts".
Peter got excited, "I learned that game last week! I'll help teach!"
He grabbed some cards and ran to the table.
Tony grabbed a hold of Winter and Loki to sit a t the table, they had been refusing to play, thinking they would cause problems.
With everyone sitting at the table, Tony on one side and Peter on the other to help those on their sides.
"Alright, everyone pick a deck of cards, make sure your deck is unique".
Peter said, dumping the container of different decks.
"This is basically competitive solitaire, where you have a set in front of you and in the middle of the table", Tony said, grabbing a deck of metallic cards.
"Oh is that all?" Steve asked, grabbing donut cards.
"Yeah, but it can get exciting! When the deck in front of you is empty, you yell 'Nerts!',and you count the value of the cards you have left on the table".
After twenty minutes, Winter is out and about, and silently cursing in russian.
Loki, Wanda and Stephen are using their magic to place cards on the table.
Steve is trying to get cards on the table, but everyone is faster than him.
Nat and Clint are the silent pair, not clamoring over the plays of other people.
Bruce and Vision were trying to find a logical way to win the game.
Sam and Pietro folded and just watched the chaos around them.
Peter and Tony were in their element, playing and laughing.
Pretty soon everyone just watched the two play, smiles creepy along their faces, some faster than others.
Tony realized they were being watched, but she didn't care, she was spending time with her spider kid.
Peter laid his last card and yawned, "Nerts..".
Tony looked at the time, it was barely 8pm, but there were a lot of emotions today.
So Tony put down her cards and picked up Peter.
He slumped against her shoulder, wrapping his arms around her neck.
She walked to the elevator and to her penthouse.
She walked in, passing her own living area, went down a hallway to see her old room intact, after all these years.
It brought a sad smile to her face as she thought about all the restless nights that she had worried Pepper, and the panic attacks in the showers.
She laid Peter on her bed, he stretched and grabbed her old pillow-which probably had her old cologne.
Peter buried his face into the pillow, falling fast asleep, snoring softly.
