After lunch and effectively prying off Rhodney and his death grip, Tony grabbed Stephen, Loki and Peter.

"Come on, we have a place to be '' she said somberly.

The phone call she had just gotten off broke her heart, and she had to move fast before it went downhill.

The phone call was directed to SI lawyers, but Jarvis patched it through to her, because it involved the kid.

They walked out of the elevator and called a car.

Happy rushed out and reached out to touch her shoulder.

She smiled, "Hey Hap, we have a place we need to be for the kid, can you get us there?", she said softly, the rest of the group behind her a ways.

She passed him directions, and he nodded quickly and got in the driver's seat.

Tony opened the door and everyone piled in and they drove off.

Happy parked the car in front of the court house.

She shifted closer to Peter and held him.

"Peter", she started to say softly, making him look up into her leaking eyes.

"Aunt May has been in an accident...with a semi".

Peter was silent, then started to sob into her shoulder.

She held onto him tightly, Loki and Stephen offering comfort as well.

Loki looked into Tony's eyes, "Why are we here, Tony?".

She looks into his eyes, "Because if I don't do something now, people are going to take him away. I'm not letting go of my Itsy Bitsy", she whispered, far below Peter's range of hearing as he cried.

Peter, still leaning heavily on Tony, she opened the car door and walked into the court building.

The receptionist looked at the next name to be called, then hesitantly called out, "Tony Stark?".

 Tony strode forward, "That's me".

As much as she wanted a 3-piece suit, she knew that the arc reactor had to be visible through her tank top, and she might need to use a different tactic for the judge.

The rep's eyes widened, "Um, court ro-room five", she stuttered.

They walked into the courtroom, and she actually knew the judge.

 'Thank you Jarvis'.

"Permission to prove that it's me, Judge Cupcake?", she said with a small smile.

Judge O'Riley was taken aback, "The court case for the parental rights of Peter Parker has begun. Please be seated".

Peter sat, well, stumbled into a chair, not sure if he heard the Judge right.

Tony signed the proper forms, but she asked for, "Co-signers Stark? Why would you want that?".

"With all due respect O'riley, me coming back has made me want to protect what is mine", she grips Peter's shoulder gently while she speaks.

A guard brought a form where up to 10 people can co-sign, and Tony motioned Stephen and Loki to come closer.

They approached slowly, trying to understand what her thought process is with this.

But Loki is being more verbal.

"Anthony, why would you want me to sign for him?" He whispers quietly, not quite believing that Tony would trust him so much.
