Chapter 4 Business Meal

Levi walks in the company on his phone to his uncle hearing the kids cheering and yelling which made him laugh. He hates that he cant talk to them until the two weeks is up but he was feeling more and more like himself.

"alright uncle I have to go, tell the kids I say hi and make sure they get to school on time" he ordered and hung up the phone until he heard a loud cheer from Hanji running around the entire 41st floor confusing everyone as she was handing them all a small plastic cup and pouring prosecco in everyone's glass and bumped into Levi giving him a cup of Proseccos to pour him and he was so confused. "what's going on?"

"we have been able to sell 100,000 copies of everyone's articles, journals, books etc, all that included we were able to sell them all for at least millions, so everyone here is mentioned and contributed, its gonna be in the paper, the news etc!" she cheered making everyone else in the cubical cheer and drink their prosecco Levi just laughed and gave Hanji his cup back. "why wont you drink it?"

"I'm amazed I am, well done boss but I cant drink, social worker said so"

"one prosecco?"

"only if I'm at a restaurant" he joked and Hanji downed his share and followed Levi to his office closing the door to block out the loud celebrating colleagues. "well done, I knew you'd do it" he lied and Hanji just laughed sitting on a client chair in front of his desk.

"you liar, what happened to 'SHE RAN INTO THE FUCKING DOOR, SHE CANT LEAD US!' or 'IF IT'S BECAUSE OF MY HEIGHT ITS WRONG, MY SON IS 13 YEARS OLD AND 5,8 STILL GROWING!" Hanji yelled and Levi just chuckled as her hyper act was almost up. "I couldn't thank you enough Levi"

"what did I do?"

"you helped me through, stuck my backbone in and gave me courage for everything. You really should have been CEO"

"don't say that, your great"

"thank you and to prove that I appreciate everything you've done, I want to have a business meal with you and celebrate this companies breakthrough"

"I dunno I'm kind of busy"

"busy doing what sitting in your empty house rotting away, come on Levi, have a nice shave, cut your hair back in that nice haircut you usually have and wear a nice old tux and meet me at the restaurant just down the road...PLEASE"

"okay fine. I wont meet you, ill pick you up, knowing the state your gonna be in I know your gonna be drunk" he laughed and Hanji laughed too rushing into his arms laughing, laughing and laughing some more.

"thank you thank you thank you Levi, you wont regret it"

"I will if you don't at least wash" Hanji squealed with excitement and started cheering as the others started cheering which made Levi let out a small laugh.

For the first time in ages Levi puts on his radio with soft Jazz playing as he got ready for the meal. He felt nervous for some strange reason its been five years since he got nervous going out with a girl whether it's a date or not, he hadn't worn a smart suit in a while. He ran to his bathroom and showered prepping himself for the night telling himself not to be stupid, just be cool. He wrapped his towel around his waist and brushed his teeth whilst wiping the steamy mirror and was sick of looking at his beard and long hair, it reminded him of Armin and Mikasa's friend Eren's dad and he doesn't like long hair at all which is why he trims Armin's hair once a month.
