I got up a while ago, I have been laying here for half an hour and I just can't find the energy to get up. I finally told myself that I have to go and forced myself to snap out of it. I decided to go with ripped jeans, a black sweater and a coat.
My luggage had already been put in the car so I just grabbed the rest of my stuff and I was out the door. I stopped at my key bowl to take the G-wagon keys.
I got into the car and put my playlist on before driving out of my house compound and I was off to Holmes Chapel. I know I could take the train or fly but I like the drive. It's 9:30 so I expect to be there in about 3 and a half hours.
It took me 3 hours to get here, its half past 12 and I just got out of the car to get my bags. I got all my stuff out and rang the doorbell. My aunt answered and she was so surprised, she had only expected me to come after new year's as I told her I had a party to attend.
"Katherine! I thought you weren't coming today; I've missed you so much." My aunt said before pulling me into a hug, "I wanted to give you a little surprise" I replied, grinning widely.
We both pulled away and she invited me in, I love her house, it's so beautiful. "Have you started cooking?" I asked, "No Lynn we're not doing our usual this year, Anne has invited us over for a party tonight." She answered.

"Oh, alright then, what time are we planning on leaving?" I asked, "The party starts at 9" she replied. I nodded and we continued talking, she caught me up with all I've missed in Holmes Chapel and I caught her up with all that has been going on with me.
We ended up drinking almost an entire bottle of wine and watching the Notebook, bawling our eyes out too. It was already 8 and we had both just got off the couch to start getting ready. She was so excited to try on the clothes I had bought her.
I decided to go with simple clothes, it's not like the paps would be here in Holmes Chapel anyways. I decided to wait in the living room for my aunt. She came down about 10 minutes later and we were off to Anne's house.
