Rory POV

It's been a couple days since the picnic in the woods and thankfully this time I had remembered to ask for each member of the groups number for next time we decide to hang out.

Walking into the living area of my apartment I cringe noticing Aaron sat watching tv while spooning cereal into his mouth at a rapid speed and I dig my nails into my palms listening to the slurping noise he makes. I honestly believe he would be a decent person to have a conversation with if it weren't for his quirks that drive me insane. I'm slowly coming to terms with the fact I won't like everyone i meet in my lifetime and that he is one of them. One day he'll be a distant memory I hardly remember.

"Oh hey roarster, I'm having Lucas, Everett and Liv round later you can join if you want" he splutters through the mouthfuls of lucky charms. Roarster god. This isn't the first time he's called me this but each time I hear it I internally groan.

"Oh I'm fine thanks though" I smile politely

"Come on babe hang out with us... or I could cancel and we can spend some time together ourselves" he winks

"For the love of god do not cancel them, the less time we spend alone together the better" I send a large fake smile his way, my eyes squinting.

"I've got to say I love our 'will they? Won't they?' Thing we've got going on" he smirks, milk still dripping down his chin.

"We will not" I assure

He tuts "you say that but it's how you females are wired, the longer we live together you'll fall for me it's inevitable" he blankly stares at the tv screen as I grimace at the word choice of 'female' the way he says it so dehumanising. I don't even want to dignify what he said with a response

Why did I come in here again? Oh yeah, looking around at the messy room I spot my purse picking it up I place it in my bag.

"I've got college, I'll be back later" I inform ready to leave.

"Alright, we need more milk" he says casually and annoyance surges through me. Not even a please or thank you in sight, he always does this. He never pays for anything we share like bread, milk or toilet paper it's always me and I can't do anything about it because if I don't then we just wouldn't have any. He says it's because I work at the supermarket so I can bring it home after a shift but it's bullshit that the responsibility always lands to me.

I even had to start hiding my shampoo, conditioner and shower gel in my room because he was stealing it instead of using his nasty 3 in 1.

The walk to college was stressful I was running late so at times I had to do a speed walk / light jog while still trying to look casual in front of on lookers.

Getting to college five minutes late was embarrassing at first but I soon relaxed, it breezed by pretty quick but I think it's down to the fact I actually enjoy my classes and what I study. My professors are a pain in the ass at times but if it means getting my degree I'll put up with it.
