Rory POV
It didn't take me long to over pack enough stuff to last me until next week. Both me and Damien took a bag each and with much relief Damien took the heavier of the two.
I had to tell Aaron that I was leaving to stay with family for two weeks and would come back for necessities from time to time. By the look on his face I could tell he was about to say something that I would not find as funny as he did, but he stopped himself as he looked behind me and saw Damien stood with a stone cold glare focused on Aaron and Aaron alone. It made me smirk
We walked back to what Damien informed me was called the 'pack house'. It was still light outside so I wasn't too scared walking through the woods but nerves still bubbles in me when we approached the river, flashbacks of being dragged through the water wavering in the back of my mind.
Shaking it off we cross the river and walk through what would now be described as my new town for god knows how long.
George said 'until this gets dealt with' but didn't mention the time frame it would take or even what the plan was to sort this out. I imagine that will be between him and Killian.
Prince Killian
That was something I mulled over while packing. Sharing a living space with royalty.
Standing in the elevator Damien turns to me and says "you'll be okay taking these bags in won't you? It's almost Lily's bedtime and I like to read her a story before"
"Yeah I'll manage, it's just two bags" I smile.
He leans forward and presses for his floor as well as mine. We stand in comfortable silence until the doors open and Damien walks forward
"Try not to piss off the alpha too much" he smirks
"Only if he gives me a reason to" in a swift cheeky motion I raise my eyebrows up and down smiling
He rolls his eyes at me "That's all I ask, good luck" and with that I was alone as the doors shut.
My fingers nervously start tapping the bar that goes along the elevator walls. Walking out the elevator doors I start to overthink if I should knock or just walk in seeing as it's now where I'm staying. I should knock what if he's not expecting me this early? He should be expecting me, he's the one who invited me to stay with him. Well now I'm just staring at the door. What if he has cameras and is laughing at me right now... my paranoia kicks in and I look along the ceiling to see if there's any devices watching me stand still like a sim waiting to be invited in. Thankfully it seems I'm alone.
Fuck it it's better to knock than assume. I bring my fist up to the wood and knock lightly. Less than a minute later the door swings wide open, Killian stood tall in the doorway.
"Hi" I start.
"Hello" he smiles down at me "please, come in" he moves to the side allowing me access to his home.
I walk inside with both bags weighing down my arm. Killian must have noticed as without a word he slides the bags off my forearms and carry's them across the living area. Unsure of what to do I follow him in silence. Walking down the hallway I'm now very familiar with we walk to killians room and stand outside the door. Worry spikes in me that he's going to suggest living in the same room together, I may have done it once but that doesn't mean I don't want my own space. A quiet sigh of relief leaves my body when he turns and opens the door opposite of his room. This was the last room I didn't get to investigate the day I learned of werewolves after stumbling upon Killians room and the feeling of intruding overcome me.
