Shutting the door as gently as possible I quietly turn around and face the two bumbling idiots I stupidly assigned to guard Aurora only now showing the true fury I harbour on my face.
With a glance back to the door I can still hear her tossing and turning only furthering my anger. I decide it's best not to disturb her so mindlink the fools in front of me.
"If either of you ever leave her to fight like that herself again so help me god I will stick both your heads on spikes as a warning to others who wish her harm" I growl.
"We are terribly sorry alpha I'm truly ashamed of our actions" Davis - the shorter of the two - whimpers
"Deepest and sincerest apologises" mark also cowers
"You will stand here making sure no one goes in or out of this room,I don't want to seeanother new scratch on her when I get back" I take a step to walk away before I stop and reiterate "and Trust me I've checked, I will notice"
"Yes you're majesty" mark nods frantically.
Walking down the corridor I say in a quiet tone aware they are still in range to hear me but not disturb Aurora, "don't even think of toilet breaks" I smirk knowing my return will not be for a while serving them a fraction of the punishment they deserve.
Speeding up my pace I have to stop myself from sprinting to the dining hall. Even just the image of holly's face has me wanting to destroy all furniture in my line of sight.
I can hear the loud rumble of excitement as I approach the crime scene most likely still buzzing from the drama that took place less than half an hour ago.
Straightening up my posture and broadening my shoulders I relax into a menacingly slow pace as I enter through the large doorway immediately the room falls into silence, one by one I watch as individuals bow their heads in respect.
A smell that makes me so uncomfortable I become aware of the feeling of my bones underneath my skin shaking, a smell that will be stuck in my nose for years to come, a smell I experienced only 10 minutes ago. Auroras blood.
I look down directly at the tip of my shoe. Right there on the wooden floor is droplets of my mates blood. It doesn't affect others the way it does me so they haven't a care for cleaning the mess up. Whereas I am contemplating ripping the boards up, burning them and refitting the entire halls floor.
"Where is holly?" I boom my eyes never leaving the small dot that quite frankly could bring me to my knees.
Although asking, I can sense exactly where she is in this large room. I can smell her in the middle of huddled women most likely checking her over and praising her for putting a human in their place.
