One Hundred and Forty-two

Okay, I can totally simp for Midoriya's face in that panel idk why.

Memories of Takami's warning to me before we parted ways of the real danger that may arise from Tartarus. The pink and dark-blue colored ammo proves that it's her. The ex-hero known as Lady Nagant. I look at Izuku who is looking at where the shot came from, I can assume Hawks gave him a similar warning and the same instruction to run.

"Janna, go and find All Might or Endeavor. Lady Nagant found Deku and I." I order over my headset as I keep a tail on my boyfriend. "On it Kiki, do you two want backup?" Janna asks, "That's what the boys are for." I say as Deku is shot, knowing him it is probably nothing. Besides, that second shot helps us to pinpoint where she is shooting from. "You're not leaving me behind again Deku, just to warn ya." I mumble as I reach into my inner pocket, pulling out a small, singular red feather that I twist between my thumb and forefinger as I keep moving, I hope this works. "Yo Hawks, your ex is back." I say to it "Only she is trying to steal my boyfriend." 

The feather seems to move like it, or rather Hawks, is surprised to hear me. That's good, he should have gotten the message then. "What the fuck?!" I yell after putting the feather back in my pocket as something graze my arm. I land on a building, it's just a scratch, I should be fine. "It's a bit too late for that!" Deku says over my com? When did he get one if my programed ones? "Once Lady Nagant tells me what I need to know, All for One and Shigaraki are next." Wait, can he talk to the predecessors now? You really are the Avatar my dear. "Azula!" I hear, directed towards me of course "I need your help with something. Do you think you can mimic my voice?"

"Oh yeah, I can do Afro and Handyman too."

"Maybe." my boyfriend says in all seriousness "Main thing is that I need you to distract her. And try not to get hurt." little late honey, "If I'm a good girl do I get to fight Shiggy?" I ask, but he doesn't answer my question. "The Third's Fa Jin."

Hope Izuku realizes that I am going to say whatever comes to mind since she doesn't really know him "I didn't take you for one to see a G-string under there." I say in my boyfriend's voice "Like really? Couldn't you've kept some things left to the imagination? You're new costume is almost as bad as Midnight's or Mt Lady's. Unless you are trying for the sexy sniper villain thing. I mean, sexy didn't seem like your thing in your hero days.

"But I guess if you want to try something new it's really up to you I guess, though wouldn't some leggings or biker shorts be smart to give you some privacy?"

"You boy," the woman says "talk too much." a shot rang out as she shot at Torino's scarf with some mist, then three more rang out in quick succession "Hide in the smoke all you like, you won't get away." Bet bitch "TOO BAD I'M NOT IN THE SMOKE!" Deku yells from above. And for the record, no I do not know what type of underwear she has on. I'm more above her than below.

"Hey, Janna is with All Might." the third, and pretty much the only male, member of my team informs me over my head set "should Shokubuki and I find the top three?"

"Yeah, Hawks should already know the situation and they should be on their way too Twofold." I reply, "Okay!" I can almost hear a smile. "Keep safe out there, and if Hawks have any questions, have him talk to me."

"Sure thing! What if I want to answer them?"

"The Safety Commission taught me everything I know."  I hear Lady Nagant says Izuku goes flying. "Then why work for All for One?! You know he's plotting to take over everything, right?!" he yells as I try to think of something I can do,"So why? I know you used to be a hero!!"

"All you're seeing is that phony sense if order they've manufactured." I can almost hear a chuckle in her voice "No wonder people tinged by it can't understand the truth."

Tinged? I know that the government isn't perfect and there is probably some corruption "I was exhausted," she continues "after so much killing. And it was all to preserve out sham society.

"Say there was a group plotting acts of terrorism against heroes, or a hero team colluding with a gang of villains while gaining fame and fortune, when you have people like that- people capable of shaking the bedrock of our society, law and order won't cut it. They have to disappear along with their crimes. The Safety Commission gave me those classified missions." So she was the government's hitman, or woman I guess. The woman goes on with her story, having to kill anyone that the commission deemed a major threat, whether heroes or not, and the toll it took on her mentally until her breaking point.

I personally shake my head with a mix of a sigh and a chuckle "You know," I say after her comment about a future under All for One, "I've heard a lot of things like this from Dabi when I was growing up, and he kinda have a better reason to despise heroes, wanna know what happened to him? He helped me train for UA before coming the very thing he swore to destroy." I mean that is what happened.

"Maybe I was ignorant, but I'm  starting to see things clearly." Izuku says "It's not all black-and-white. Most things in this world are in shades of grey. A blend of fear and anger. Which is exactly why I've gotta extend a helping hand."

"Damn he's quotable too!" I hear from Twofold, "Deku, I got an idea but I need you to get back at least 21 meters from us." I say over the com. I got two Ultimate Moves that might capture her, though I haven't tested them out.

"You done yet?" a new voice calls from a building "Gotta get the boss..."

"Chisaki?!" Wait, Overhaul?! I'd thought Dabi especially would've killed him after what happened to Eri. Well this will be more interesting.

Phew, got that done. So I will probably be updating every 2-3 weeks, maybe more, depending on the manga like if it's mostly flashbacks or from someone else's POV since my goal is to write around 1000 words or more per chapter.
