Let's show case Tsu this chapter.
A few days later
I slice my ice blade through the air in a repetitive manner, it's a Western long sword to give me more variety of weaponry at my disposal when it comes to my ice. "Azula!" Sho calls, I turn, sword still in hand. "What's up?" I ask. He toss me a bottle of water, I hadn't drank anything since this morning "Thanks." I say, opening it up, "No problem. Stay hydrated Sis." he walks away as I drink the water. We only have a few days or so until the licensing exam. I have been spending a couple hours extra at the dojo after school with my morning runs to keep up my endurance and due to other things.
I stick the now half-empty bottle in my back pocket and continue waving the sword around in my left hand for a bit longer.
"Oi! Ice Queen!" Bakugo yell, I wait a few minutes, long enough for him to get closer "Ic-" he starts. I spin around to face him, the tip of my sword pointing at his nose, the boy is a little surprised. Understandably so, I smirk at him as I lower my weapon "That better be my new nickname Bakugo. I like it better than Frosty."
He mutters something under his breath "Sorry, what was that?" I ask, cupping a hand over my ear. "It doesn't matter, 1v1 me. Right here, right now." Bakugo got in his fighting stance. I place my free hand on my hip "Did you get the okay for this?"
"Why the hell would I need that?"
I shrug, putting the long sword in my right hand, melting it. "I mean, personally, I wouldn't want to get in trouble with Aizawa-sensei." I spy some ice snaking its way toward the boy. "I don't give a damn." he growls, not seeing what I am; which is a good thing. "If I win," I pause "will you let me go back to what I was doing?"
"If it will get you to 1v1 me."
I smile "Okay." An ice wall shoots up, unnoticed by him, behind my classmate as two of those two-prong forks things pins Ground Zero to the wall via his gauntlets.
"I win." I give him a closed-eye smile.
"You fucking cheater!" he almost yells.
"Nope," I walk up to him "You weren't paying attention." I melt the ice before turning my back to him, advising the Pomeranian to go back to training solo.
"How do you do it?" he asks in a more soft tone, not doing as I asked him. I turn back to Bakugo "Do what?"
"How is it that you can still act normal despite what happened to us? Despite having the nightmares, being kidnapped." he asks more fully, surprising me.
I pull the corner of my lip up "Partly from being around family and friends." I give a slight pause before adding "Besides, I've spent about ten years of hiding my emotions from everyone for the most part."
And with that, I go back to working with my quirk. I create another Western long sword and begin swinging it around as if I was fighting an invisible enemy. I hear Bakugo walk away, but an aura of wanting to know more. Sorry Bakugo, but not even Shoto know.
I am going to skip to the Licensing Exam because I is lacking ideas for the before but have loads of ideas for during and after. ...ᘛ⁐̤ᕐᐷ
We exit the bus at the facility that we are taking our Hero exam, I am so nervous. Sure I've readying myself for this since middle school but still. "Ahahaha" my boyfriend mutters, nerves kicking in for him. I wrap him up in a hug "Relax, you're going to do fine." I kiss his head. "How are you so confident about this?" he ask, "Just am, besides we have more experience than many of the other students taking the exam." I tell him as I spot a group of student from a different heroing school, all of the students were wearing their uniforms (just like us) consisting of white button ups, black slacks/skirts and caps with an 'S' on the front. One of the students walks over to our group, he seems familiar to me. I walk over toward the guy, of course my hair is down so everyone knew who I was, so thus, many questions from the other aspiring heroes starts asking questions and whispering in general.
Rude! At least say them to my face.
Anyways, the first guy must've said spouted off something uncalled for because one of his piers, possibly class representative, got after him. The student removes his hat before slamming his head into the ground "I am terribly sorry for being so rude to my fellow heroes in training." he bows, I stifle a slight sound as he stands back up, his forehead bleeding, as he put his cap back over his buzz-cut.
That guy went to my middle school. "What was that all about?" I ask Shoto, he was closest to the kid "Something about Dad or something." he replies. We walk into the separate changing rooms and I quickly change into my hero costume. But not before sending a quick text to someone and receiving a reply [Here's the messages:]
A:I saw you, good luck on the exam.
I:Good luck to you too
I: want to meet up after like we planned still at the park?
A: sure and tx
I walk out of the changing room to where we are suppose to wait, for further instructions. As I walk I spot Izu, Toya and Shoto standing together, so I walk over to them. "Ready for this?" I ask the three boys. I got all possible answers: Yes, no and meh. "I mean what if I fail it?!" Midoriya says. "Then it would be understandable," I tell him, grabbing his shoulders "We're first years after all."
"I know." he sighs before saying he's just nervous.
I move my hands to my pockets as the Public Safety Commission Officer walks onto the stage.
