Forty-one

100% not my art, I found it on my Instagram feed. But I figure it would be good for this chapter and since I have yet to use a picture of Endeavor so: Ta-da!

Few days later

I am sitting on the couch at my former place of residence (Toya's house) with my parents on one side of me, Yuki and Toya on the other as All Might, in his weaken state, and Aizawa explains about the dorms. Though I already knew about them; also Izu and I already told Nezu our decision yesterday. Sho is here too, entertaining Tenshi on the floor. "I'm staying at UA." I tell them in up most seriousness, "I am too." Shoto agrees. "This isn't just for you to decide." Aizawa says, referring to my parents and, for me, Yuki and Toya since they have been my unofficial guardians since that day. "I don't know about Shoto, but Azula has been making her own decisions since she was eight." Yuki shrugs "Even to the point of meeting with the headmaster of her middle school prior to going and taking care of the registration for UA."

My parents and teachers looking a little surprise with that pit of intell. "They can go to the dorms." Dad says my mother nodding in agreement. "But you have to visit on the weekends." she adds. I nod, picking Tenshi up (Much to my twin's dismay, I swear, he's obsessed with her). All Might and Aizawa stands up from their chair's "That's all we needed to discuss." the former Number One hero says. He didn't talk much the whole time they were here, maybe because of Dad?

Yuki stands up, asking if they would like anything to eat before they go. "We don't want to impose on you." All Might says, raising his hand in front of him.

"It's better if we get going. Thank you for letting us meet you Ms. Yamacho." Sensei says as the two bow slightly before leaving.

"I can whip something up for the six of us." I say once the teachers left.

"Azula, you don't have to." Mom says getting up. "But you would want her too." Yuki says "You have a mighty fine chef in your family." she rubs my head a little, taking care to not mess up my part unlike some people. I hand Tenshi to her other uncle before turning to Shoto "Come on, you're going to help me."

"But I can't cook." he says, getting up. "I can teach you." I tell him, "Do want me to help?" Dad asks as Mom and Yuki starts talking about random stuff. "Nope!" I smile taking my little brother to the kitchen.

I look in the cupboards and refrigerator to see what I have to work with. Thankully Yuki has been keeping the food the supply the same while I have been at Natsuo's. "Let's do Oyakodon." I say as I get the ingredients out. "What do you want me to do?" he asks, "Grab an apron from behind the door and get enough rice going in the rice cooker." I tell him as I start to make the sauce for the dish. Some sauce-making and egg beating later

I hand my brother a knife and cutting board, once I set the eggs and sauce off to the side, before grabbing my own and setting them on the counter. Shoto seems a little confused "You're not done helping me yet." I say, grabbing some onions and chicken thighs [I think that's what the recipe said] "Cut the onion in half then in thin slices after you peel off the skin and one layer." I instruct him, starting to slice the chicken into strips "And try not to cut yourself." I add as an after thought.

After I finish cutting the chicken, I pull out two medium size cast-iron skillets and pour some vegetable oil in them before grabbing one with my right hand. "Okay, now what?" Sho asks behind me, I turn to the boy who has tears running down his cheeks. "Put half of the onions in my pan then wash your hands." I tell him, the oil sizzling in the pan. Sho does as I ask and I then some of the chicken in the pan and pouring in half of the sause.

"Isn't the burner suppose to be on?" Shoto asks beside me as I pour the eggs in with my left hand. I give him a shrug "I mean, technical it's not needed with our quirks." I then ask if he wants to learn how, my brother nods.

About an half hour later

"Toya!!" I tell from the kitchen as Shoto finish cooking the other half of the food "Can you set the table please!!!"

"Make me!" he calls back like the brat he is. I enter the living room with my arms crossed, Toya still had Tenshi on his lap. "I can set the table." Dad says, getting up. Interesting, "If you want to."

My father follows me to the kitchen that also doubles as the dinning room toward the back of the apartment. I explain to Dad where everything is as Shoto puts the apron away.

Soon the table was set and everyone was sitting down aside from me because I am feeding Tenshi her formula. "Once again, Azula takes the title of best food." Toya says, almost done with his first bowl. "Actually Shoto cooked that pan." I say, sitting down next to my twin. No one has touched the pan I used. "Nice job little brother." Toya says, Mom and Yuki complimenting Sho as well. "It's better than just cooking Soba in the microwave." my father says. "Looks like I have to teach him how to make some proper Soba next time." I remark. I think this has broke the ice between Dad and my brothers, at least a little.

After dinner, everyone, aside from Shoto and I, cleaned up the table. I go to my room with Tenshi, who is fast asleep. I lay down on my bed, Tenshi on my chest, and put on my head phones before Face Timing Izuku.

"Hi." I say softly once Izuku is connected. "Hi, is everything okay?" he asks, he is on his bed too from the looks of it. "Yeah, just finished dinner. It was kinda awkward between All Might and Dad." I tell him "At least Aizawa was here to explain the dorms."

"Aizawa was there? Only All Might came to my house." he tells me as someone knocks on my door softly. "Hey, Mom and Dad are leaving." Sho says opening my door. "Tell Shoto hi for me!" Izuku says. "Okay, I would get up but-" I point at Tenshi, once she's asleep, it's hard to move her without waking her up. "Also Izuku says hi." I tell my brother. He in walks over to me and wave hi to the phone "I'll let them know that you are now a bed." my brother leaves the room while my boyfriend smiles at the remark. I stick my tongue out at him before asking how things are at his house.

"It's alright, I almost didn't get to go back to UA because my mom was worried with all the injuries I had gotten." he rubs his neck as he sits up. I mean he has, but most of them were because of his quirk or villains. "I understand where she is coming from, but you could have gotten the same injuries at any of the other hero schools but with a longer recovery time." I say, "I guess so. Are your parents letting you stay at UA?"

"Yup. Shoto too." I smile. We continue talking for a good hour before he had to go to bed. "I love you." I tell him without a second thought, he blush "I love you too." Izuku flashes me a toothy smile before ending the call. I take off my headset and put it, along with me phone, on my nightstand before falling asleep.
