This Kiss

Chapter 9

Olivia woke with a start. Her body soaked in sweat. Taking a moment to acquaint herself with her surroundings. Realizing she was safe in her bed she took a deep breath. Climbing out of bed she went to her bathroom to rinse off both the sweat and the nightmare.

After a quick shower and changing her pajamas she was still feeling shaky. Debating for a moment before coming to a decision. She quietly left her room, poking her head into Emma's door before padding down the hall to Natalia's room.

She hesitantly knocked on the door. Waiting a minute before knocking again. When there was no answer she thought of going back to her room but knew that there was no way she could sleep alone after the nightmare she just had. Making the decision she carefully opened the door slightly and slipped inside.

Reaching the side of the bed she looked down at the beautiful Latina laying there. Natalia's face looked so peaceful. In that moment she was eternally grateful to have this wonderful woman in her life. She reached a hand out and ever so slightly brushed Natalia's cheek.

Natalia barely stirred so Olivia bent and lightly kissed her lips. Natalia hummed but didn't wake so Olivia kissed her just a bit harder. Natalia startled and her eyes popped open. Taken aback for only a second before realizing she was starring into Olivia's beautiful Jade eyes. Smiling and then concerned she muttered sleepily, "Hey, what's wrong?"

"I uh, I had a nightmare and couldn't get back to sleep."

Reaching out her hand to Olivia she tugged slightly. Bringing Olivia to sit on the edge of the bed. "Oh my baby, I'm sorry. Wanna tell me about it?"

"Not right now. Can I lay with you? Please?" She asked in a small voice similar to Emma's when she's scared.

"Of course baby. Get in here."

Walking to the other side of the bed Olivia lifted the blanket and climbed in. Natalia opened her arms and Olivia gratefully lay against her. Laying her head on her shoulder with her arm draped over Natalia's waist.

Natalia ran her hand up and down Olivia's back and kissed the top of her head. "Are you okay my love?"

"Mmm. I am now. I feel safe in your arms." Turning her head she placed a sweet kiss where Natalia's shoulder and neck met.

"I'm so glad you feel safe because I like having you in my arms."

Olivia's hand started to make small circles on Natalia's stomach. She turned her head to look up into Natalia's face. "You are so beautiful."

Looking down at Olivia's perfect features Natalia's heart skipped a beat. "Funny, I was just thinking the same thing about you."

Chuckling softly Olivia stretched up to kiss Natalia's full lips. The kiss started out chaste but soon turned passionate. Natalia slipped her tongue out to run across Olivia's bottom lip, begging for entrance. Olivia instantly opened to her. Allowing Natalia's tongue to ravage her mouth. Upon feeling Natalia's tongue glide against the roof of her mouth Olivia let out a moan. Separating just long enough to take a breath before diving back in. Olivia teased her tongue along Natalia's before running it along full lips then gently biting on her bottom lip. Natalia let out a hum of appreciation before kissing along Olivia's jawline to her pulse point.

Olivia tilt her head to the side to give Natalia better access while her hand slipped under Natalia's night shirt. Skimming across smooth bare skin. Natalia's back arched slightly while she continued her ministrations on Olivia's neck.

Olivia's hand inched further up Natalia's shirt. She could feel herself getting lost in the love Natalia was offering her. "Baby, if we don't stop I'm not gonna be able to." She panted out.
