After a long and emotional talk with her mother, Natalia was completely drained. Once her mom and sister left to have some one-on-one time and give Natalia a chance to process everything, Olivia came back to the room, deciding they would stay at the hotel for the night. Ava and Rafe had come in and bid them both goodnight before they headed back to the farmhouse, both wanting to be in their own apartments for the night so they could process everything that had happened themselves. Not that they stayed separated for long, the two ending up snuggled together in their mother's bed.

Olivia promised them both that she would make time to speak with them the following day before getting Emma from school and then took her wife to bed. The two silently stripped from their clothes and went about their nightly routines, forgoing pajamas since they were alone in their suite. They migrated to the middle of the bed and were soon wrapped in each other's arms.

Olivia kissed her wife's temple, allowing her lips to linger for a few moments. "Are you okay sweetheart?"

Natalia pulled back enough to look up at her wife. "Yes. I think so. It's been a long day. I'm still having trouble believing that mama is actually here, that she left my father and her life behind."

"She wants to be here honey. It was easy to see how much she has missed you and how much regret she has over what happened."

"I know. It doesn't make it any easier though."

"I know. It's going to take time baby, but we'll get through this, just like we've gotten through everything else life has thrown at us."

"I just, part of me wanted to just throw her out the moment I saw her. Does that make me a bad person?"

Olivia cupped her cheek in her hand. "No baby. It does not make you a bad person, just human." She pecked her lips sweetly before pulling back. "It's natural to want to push away the people that have hurt us. I wouldn't have blamed you if you had. But that's what makes you so amazing. Honey, you could have told her no, you could have refused to even hear her out, we both know I would have, but you didn't. Part of why I love you so much is your uncanny ability to forgive even the most heinous of crimes. Lord knows I wouldn't be here if you couldn't."

"I couldn't not forgive you Olivia. Even if my head didn't know it, my heart loved you from the very beginning. I had no choice but to forgive you. You are the other half of my soul; I couldn't live without you mi amor."

"Nor I you. I love you so much Natalia."

"I love you too Olivia. But this, with my mother, it's different. What she did, it's different. I was her daughter and she just allowed my father to throw me away. She didn't even fight to keep a picture of me up in her house. She let him erase me from their lives, and now she's here and she wants to start over, to just forget about all of that. I don't know if I can do that Olivia."

"Sweetheart, no one expects you to forget, just forgive, which you already have. Now we just move forward. You don't need to forget what happened baby, just like we haven't forgotten anything that happened between us, but, we have moved passed it. I think that's all your mom wants, is to try and move forward and have some sort of relationship with you. I'm not saying it's going to be easy, but, I will be here, right by your side, every step of the way. And, if you decide that you can't, that it's too much, I'll support you in that too."

Natalia surged forward and kissed her wife, hard. All she had ever wanted was for someone to be there for her. To support her in every way, and Olivia was. She was there for all the good, the bad, and the ugly. Her love and support never wavered. In that moment, all Natalia could think about was how much she loved her wife and was loved in return. She let the rest of the world fall away and got lost in her love. Letting the events with both of her parents fall to the wayside as she gave herself over to the undeniable pull towards her wife, towards their love.
