This is terrible, but the Kuragins are like masterminds. Anatole tries to like seduce natasha at the opera, then asks his sister to seduce her into coming to the ball, she does, leaving anatole to seduce natasha into eloping with him, gets his friends to basically prepare and pay for everything, even has a party wishing him farwell, abducts natasha and carries her to try and elope, where they would have been wed and he'll basically try to seduce her for the rest of their lives. Like that's one hell of a plan and a seduction party. I don't know what you think, but I believe Sonya deserves best cousin of all time award for one stoping her friend from being in all that mess, and two being the only child (besides poor petya who died too young :( rip) under natalya's care to not only not have ruined the family in some way, but to sacrifice the thing she loved the most to elevate them back up and then still be mistreated and find out her lover doesn't love her any longer, but then has to do something with her life and ends up taking care of their children. (I am extremely happy for marya and nikolai, just sad sonya doesn't get to be in love with someone who loves her back) that became a short rant sorry about that thanks for coming to my ted talk lol
