Zhan and Yibo were sleeping peacefully when a loud crying noise interrupted their dreamy filled slumber. Yibo, the ever attentive father was the first to wake up.
He came out of the bedroom to find the maids from Last night trying to carry his children. Anger flared in his chest seeing his youngest child crying furiously and trashing in the maids hold trying to get out of her hold. But the maid was holding him so tightly and refused to put him down causing him more stress. His cries were getting loud. The child felt hysteric when he couldn't find any comfort or warmth.
Yibo was about to move towards the scene when a flash passed him and in seconds the baby was in zhan's hands or more like weiying's hands. The cries instantly turning into sobs as the child finally felt the warmth of his mother. Snuggling closer to the warmth, the child relaxed and drifted to sleep sensing the secure atmosphere and his own crying had exhausted him.
Zhan was sleeping peacefully inside his room secured in his husband's warmth when suddenly a high pitched crying pierced the calm atmosphere. He was woken up but Yibo was faster. He was already out of the room by the time Zhan's eyes opened. Thinking Yibo was coming with children as they might be hungry. But when minutes passed and no one came, he got up from the bed and wore his outer robe before steping out of the room. The crying of the kids was causing him disturbance.
But he was not prepared for the scene in front of him. His baby, his youngest fluffball who was always cheerful or calm was crying hysterically in a maids arms. He knew that maid. She was the one who was giving him attitude when Yibo ignored him. She refused to help him when he was sick and calling for his husband. Instead she left him and his younger born crying and pain and started spreading rumors in palace.
Instantly fury surged in him. Zhan faded in seconds and weiying came to surface. His eyes purple and black. He instantly sped past Yibo before he could even move an inch. He instantly snatched the kid in her arms and soothed the crying baby in his arms. His warmth instantly made the kid stop crying. He handed the sleeping kid to Yibo who instantly made the younger one snuggle into his chest giving him secure atmosphere to relax.
Weiying moved towards the two maids who were standing in the corner trembling in fear as this wasn't the queen they had ever seen. They had only ever witnessed a soft zhan who talked politely and never said anything to anyone.
But this was not zhan. This was literal death staring in their face as they had messed with his children. Weiying pulled the hair of the maid who held his kid and dragged her to courtyard before throwing her on the floor.
W: "I want all the maids and servant here in 2 minutes." His voice boomed loudly across the palace.
Y: You heard him. He is your queen. What are you all standing her for. Gather all the servants.
Yibo along with the younger pup snuggling in his daddy's chest walked back to the chamber where his other kids were still sleeping. He put down the boy in his crib before covering him with blankets. He checked on the other pups too before stepping out. He saw xichen(his elder brother) coming near him.
Xi: What happened Yibo? Why was tge kid crying so much? He hardly cries.
Y: Some bitch of a maid tried to carry him forcefully. Sensing the discomfort my pup wailed so loudly and at last he slept in Weiying's embrace when he sensed his mother near. My son would get sick because of her. He is already sensitive. Weiying is in courtyard with all maids. Today they will learn who is the queen.
Xi: I am standing here with my nephews. You go and take care of this matter as a king beside his queen. If weiying handles this alone, people will think that he is holding no power since king doesn't support him.
Yibo nodded and went towards courtyard. The scene there was totally flabbergasted Yibo. The maids and servants were trembling while Weiying was in his true devil form. Anger erupting inside him from all humilaition he felt because of the maids making up rumours and he almost believed that Yibo abandoned him. Nara died because he turned weak and she tried to protect them both. Today they will pay.
W: You all got guts to talk about me and my children. I ignored for months. But you thought that this queen lost the favour of king so you can do anything with me. You gossiped around my chamber knowing I could hear you . But I ignored all that. You deliberately made me trip when i was all alone in garden and mocked an apology feigning innocence. I ignored that too. But now you wanted to be noticed. Knowing the king is in my chambers you woke up my sleeping kid and made him cry so loudly that Yibo woke up. You thought that he hates the Human kid so why not harm him and the king would not say anything. You thought the king will just ignore it but you were wrong. You king might have turned soft and not say anything but I will not forget and forgive you all.

Weiying started chanting and everyone was pushed on their knees. They started choking and coughing. Slowly their eyes, ears, nose started bleeding and the courtyard was filled with blood, screams and groans. Behind Weiying, yibo was also affected but not much because he was the Vampire king. But Weiying was a witch and that too an ancient shadow witch. His power was immense and his anger was at peak right now. Yibo knew that if he didn't stop him, they all will die so he tries to calm him down.
Y: Weiying my love, stop please. We all will die. They knew they did wrong. But you are a queen. You must forgive them for their deeds............ . . . . . . . . WEIYIIINNNGGGGGGGG
