Jackie and I both got our second doses of the
vaccine yesterday and we're both extremely miserable.

"Babeeee I can't move my armmmmmm," Jackie complains.

"Did you eat?" I ask.

"Yes. Like 20 minutes ago," Jackie replies.

"Here is some advil, dad said it should help," I say. I hand her 2 pills and she takes it.

I continue to shiver as I finish signing paperwork for NYU for september.

"Baby come into bed. Your body needs rest, not more work," Jackie says.

"I'm fine," I say, getting up from my chair to walk to my bed but end up collapsing.

"Oh my god!" Jackie yells. I groan and slowly get up.

"I'm fine," I say, getting into bed and drinking some water.

next day

"How do you guys feel?" Shay asks, walking into my room.

"So much better, ugh, finally," Jackie says.

I laugh.

"Definitely a lot better," I say.

"Hey, Lauren said she wants to come over and write a song. You down for that?" Shay asks.

"Yeah definitely," I say, moving the comforter so I can get up. Jackie grabs my arm.

"No."

"'No'? What do you mean 'no'?" I laugh.

"Your body needs to rest. Yesterday wasn't enough," Jackie says.

"Jackie, I'm fine," I say.

"I don't like the fact that you're doing so much work after getting your second shot, let alone getting out of bed," Jackie says. "When Lauren comes, you're staying in bed."

"Jackie, what if I need to make an instrumental?"

"You have a laptop," Jackie says.

I sigh.

"You're lucky I love you," I say, kissing her forehead.

"Hey dude, how you feeling?" Lauren asks, sitting in my chair.

"Good but Jackie over here isn't letting me out of bed," I say.

"Shut up," Jackie says hitting my shoulder.

I laugh. "Anyways what do you want to write about?"

"Bry."

"Oh, ok. Like what?" I ask.

"Just how I still love her and how I'm still in love with her and just reminiscing when we first met," Lauren explained.
