Today has been a blur, I've been running around, making sure Billie is safe from fans. She loves them, and they seem all innocent, until they pounce on you. They can switch up on you within seconds. Don't get me wrong, the fans are great, but damn, they hard to manage.

We're still in Boston, Billie is doing a sound check and since I'm her personal body guard, I have an excuse to keep my eye on her.

Why am I falling for this girl? I can't fall for her, I don't know if I can trust her.

I snap myself out of my thoughts when I hear Billie calling my name.

"Emilie? You good?" She asks, looking at me with a confused and worried expression.

"Yeah, yeah, I'm good," I lie. She looks at me, still confused, but then resumes to what she was doing before.

You can tell how much talent a person has, musically. It's one thing to sound good on a song that you released on all platforms, but sounding good live? That's where you see the talent. Let me tell you, Billie, she's fucking talented. She sounds good on tracks released on Spotify, youtube, iTunes, etc., she also sounds fucking amazing in person.

Hearing her live through a video is one thing, but actually being there, that's a whole different fucking experience.

"Emilie? Hellooooo? You good, bro?' Billie asks, snapping her fingers in my face to get her attention.

"Sorry, man. Just stuck in my thoughts, I guess," I reply.

"Well, Claudia is here, we were just going to meet her, you coming?"

"Well, anywhere you go, I technically have to follow, I signed a contract," I say, a small smile emerging on my face. Billie's management and label made me sign a shit ton of papers, I had Jordan, who's now my lawyer, read them over and explain everything to me. Just a bunch of 'we are not responsible if you sustain any injuries while working' and such.

"Let's go then, they're at some weird fucking restaurant," Billie replies, grabbing my bomber jacket and putting it on. I get up and grab a hoodie, and put it on. I have Gatorade Jordan one's on (Violet rush), black sweatpants, and a lavender hoodie on. I remove my ear piece that I have to wear because I'm part of the security team, and put it in my pocket.

We get into an Uber and tell the driver to take us to the restaurant where Finneas and Claudia are. Billie seems distant, she barely acknowledges me, always texting the same person and I have no idea who this person is, she constantly ghosts me. So now, I just do my job of protecting her and keeping an eye on her.

We pull up to the restaurant that's hanging off a cliff and over looking the Atlantic Ocean. Billie opens the door and rushes out, not worrying if a mob would form.

Stop. You're not her bodyguard right now, you're her friend or whatever you two are.

I get out of the Uber and run up to catch up to Billie.

I see Finneas sitting at a table at the very edge, with a girl, Claudia, I presume, sitting next to him. Billie doesn't even acknowledge them and just sits down across from Claudia, making me sit across from Finneas, meaning I'm right next to the rail. Billie is quick to go on her phone. I roll my eyes and introduce myself to Claudia.

"Hi, I'm Emilie, I'm Billie's personal bodyguard, and friend?" I slightly laugh, getting up from my seat to give Claudia a hug. I'm not much of a hugger, but from what Finn's been telling me about her, she seems like a hugger.

"It's so good to finally meet you, Billie talks about you all the time whenever we're on the phone together," she says. I look over to Billie, still so heavily invested in her phone.
