Attack on the Castle

---Milhi---

Finally he open his eyes! Leo asks for his name. Typical question... Suddenly, he holds his head and starts to scream in pain. It is a horrible sight to see... And to experience. As usual, Leo remains her composure and tells me to get the doctor. I nod as I start running. Just before I step outside of the room, the scream stop. He pants heavily as he mutters something. AEG? His name? Then he says his name, that is Eiji.

Leo looks extremely glad that he is ok. Me too. I excuses myself to get the doctor, just in case he is having pain again. I step out of the room slowly, leaving those love birds having sweet time together. The doctor told me to find him at the post in case of emergency. I gracefully walk towards the post as I past through the long corridor.

We both glad that Eiji, the guy we've saved, is okay. Milhi excuses herself to get the doctor just in case of emergency. I agree with her and sit next to our guest. He looks at me, in matter of fact, looks straight into my eyes, searching for something. To be honest, this is awkward. I look around ny room, searching for topics. He still looking at me, not adjusting his sight at all.

I sigh. "Where are you from?" I start our conversation. He shooks his head. "It's alright you can tell me." I continue. "I don't remember..." he replies in low voice. I scratch my head. This is hard. "What did you do until you faint at the forest outskirt?" I asked. He shooks his head again. Can't remember? "Do you like me?" He look straight at me when the question been asked. I shook my head. "W-wait... That's not from me..." I say. I turn my face behind. It was Milhi, impersonating my voice.

She giggles when she sees my blushing red face. I give her a good chase around the room out of embarassment. Milhi and the doctor laugh as our little 'fight' takes on. Eiji just look at me, emotionless. I stop as soon I realize that I just did something childish. I cough. "Please doctor, do your job." I say. The doctor make the 'LOL' face as he begins his check up. In a few minutes, he done with the check up. "It looks like a strong impact was applied to him, making him lose his memories." he explains. "Don't rush to remember things. It will hurts as much as a sword." he says as he pat Eiji's back gently. Eiji nods as he understands what the doctor just said.

I nod as the doctor told me that memories should come naturally not forcefully. I look around the room, it looks girly. I look at the white haired girl. Saying hey is rude, so silence is better. "We forgotten to introduce ourselves." the white haired girl says. "My name is Leonmitchelli Galette des Rois, the empress for this country. But you can call me Leo" she says proudly. "And this is..." Leo says as she introduces the pink haired girl. " Millhiore Firianno Biscotti, or Milhi for short." the girl waves at me. I nod.

Suddenly, a commotion is happening outside of the castle. Both Milhi and Leo look at each other and nod. "Rest here, we'll deal with the commotions." Leo says as she pushes me back to bed. When they out of the room, I sneak outside of the room. I found a black cloak just when I pass by the room. I quickly put it on. It looks great on me. I continue on sneaking outside.

Shit! At this kind of time? Urghh... Milhi walks behind me as I walk towards the barracks to equip on my weapon and armor. Done equiping, I join my troops outside of the castle. The troops are ready for battle. "Let's do this!" I yell, giving encouragement to them. Milhi is unable to battle so I put him under some guards in the barrack. I close my eyes for awhile, take a deep breath and charge into fight. Fight what? Dragons. They have known for attacking humans for their own amusement, so we have to fight for our safety.

My troops begin to attack the flock of the dragons. Some of the dragons let out fire breaths, some are using their own claws to attack and some of them using their sharp tails, killing half of my troops in just a few minutes. I grit my teeth, knowing the chances of us winning is low. My troops, morale have gone down. Many of them are trembling after watching many of their friends are killed in front of them.

There are only five dragons but... My troops consist of 3, 966 men and women losing their lives constantly. We all hoping for a miracle to happen as we fight for our lives. I slash down on one of the dragons's abdomen just to make it even angrier as blood rushing out of it's green scale. Immidiately, it knocks me out with it's massive tail onto the castle's wall. I cough out. It hurts. Ughh.

I'm so lucky this armor is made to withstand high impact, if not, I might be already dead. I try standing up using my blade that just coated with blood. Suddenly, I stumble and fall on my knees. I feel pain around my right ribs. I give it a quick check. It is bleeding. Ughh... Not this time... I must fight... To protect my... People... I pant heavily. What is this? My strength is leaving me. Is this? Poison? Ughhh... I try standing on my two feet but in a few seconds I fall on my knees again. I punch the floor, cursing my terrible state I am in now.

I hear a woman scream from a distant. It is from one of my troops. I try standing again in order to save her, but the poison got the best of me, I fall on my knees, panting heavily. As the black dragon take aim on it's prey, I pray that someone will save her. Suddenly, a dark figure pass by and says "Lend me your sword." and take her away from the danger. The girl thanks him for saving him. Wait... Isn't that... Eiji? What is he doing? Taking on five dragons? Is he insane? He just lucky when he saved the girl.

He doesn't even flinch a bit when the black dragon growls at him. He just stands there with the black cloak and my reliable sword. The dragon takes aim on him, it will be one-hit-kill if he fail to dodge it. The dragon swings it's sharp claws towards him. He sidesteps the attack and begins lunging towards the dragon. When the blade is half penetrated into the dragons body, he drags the blade upwards, opening a huge wound in the dragon's body. The black dragon enrages in anger despite the huge wound that it just receive. "Playtime is over." Eiji says as he susprisingly cut the black dragon into half which is thought to be impossible. The other dragons, white, red, green and blue dragons stop attacking on my troops as soon as they sense Eiji just took out their brother. They stare at him and walk towards him before growling in anger. "Big talk. Let's do this." Eiji says as he put the blade onto his shoulder, mocking the dragons to attack him.
