It has been a week after the dragon attack incident and all of my people are back to their daily lives. As for him, Eiji, he was celebrated as the hero because of his achievement in slaying five dragons. As for me, I was in the bed for five days. My injury had gone in that time but the doctor advice me to rest. Oh yeah! I almost forgotten about Milhi. She was here yesterday, asking me to go for a picnic with her at noon. Better go prepare myself! Wait! What should I bring along? Hmmm... Lunch I guess... To the kitchen!

I rush towards the kitchen, ignoring the 'No running in the corridor' rules. Ain't nobody got time for that. LOL. Milhi really loves sandwhiches that I made, she say my sandwhiches are the best. Better prepare a lot of them for my cute little sister~ It takes me 30 minutes to prepare a lunch box. It quite a lot but I'm sure she can gobble them up. If she can't finish them, I'll just push them into her throat. We do not want to waste any food right? Hehehe… I go back to my room, bringing along the lunchbox in case I forgot about it. I quickly change into my casual clothes, a blue formal shirt with collar and a dark blue jeans shorts.

I look myself in the mirror. Perfect! Time to go for our picnic! The place is not far, 15 minutes walking to the north of the castle. I greet the guards, as they let me through and pray for my safety. Bodyguards? They are annoying... Really annoying. They always getting on my nerves to be honest. Ah! I see a shadow under the shady tree that Milhi and I always having picnic. She already here? I guess I'm late hahaha... I wave my hand to the shadow, trying to get whoever that is, but hoping it is Milhi, of course. When I arrive, I finally see and know whose shadow who was standing there. The shadow belongs to....

EIJI!!!! Why he is here? Isn't Milhi supposed to be here? Is this Milhi new trick? Eiji notices me and greet me with his usual good afternoon and bow. I bow back. "I'm sorry about this, princess. I know you're supposed to have picnic with Princess Milhi but she has too many works to be handle. She want to keep her promise so she send me here to replace her spot. I don't know if I'm suitable though." he says in nervous. "I-it's okay... I appreciate the thought. W-well today is a good day right?" I say while looking up to the sky.

He smiles before looking up into the sky. He raises up his right hand and says "It is...". "What you usually do when you both go for picnic?" he asks with interested face. I scratch my face, not sure how to answer him. His curious face looks cute though. The sparkles in his eyes... Ahhh!!! I can't take it anymore. Just take my life now before I die in embarassment!!! "Well?" he asks as he tilts his head to the right, waiting for my answer. "W-well... Girl-to-girl talk, making flower crowns, looking at the scenery and eat lunch." I reply, looking away from the cuteness. Gah! I hope he doesn't notice I'm blushing. "I see..." he replies short, looking upwards like he is searching for something that is hidden somewhere far far away, unknown by anyone. He sits under cherry tree before inviting to sit next to him.

Hiding my blush, I sit next to him as a sudden gentle breeze blows away my embarassment. I look at Eiji's face intensely, carving his face into my memories, not wanting to forget him at all. I smiles as I look up to the cherry tree. There is no fruit yet but the scene of some light from the sun passing through the leaves always calm me down for some reason. "It's really nice..." he suddenly open his mouth. I look at him in puzzled face. "Oh it's nothing. I just thinking how great to still having your own memories." he adds after realizing I was confused. He makes a sad expression. That expression somehow... Making me sad too... "But you're really awesome being able to slay all five dragons." I try cheering him up. He turns his face to me and smile. "I don't remember anything about myself..." he says before pausing for awhile. "During that time, I heard a desperate voice, pleading someone to save the girl. Suddenly, my body move itself, even the mouth too utters something I don't want. I guess my body still remember how to fight and utters strange things." he continues as he laugh nervously.

Does that mean he heard me when I asked for a miracle to happen? And... Based on how he fought, maybe he was in royal guard or something higher. "Many people expect me to do well in defending the country. I just want to know my identity..." he says in depression. Nervously, I rub his back gently, hoping it could wash away his sadness. He looks at me and smile. "Thank you, princess. Maybe meeting you is a miracle." he says in his cute face. Gah!!! I quickly turn my face away from him, hiding my blushing face. I can hear his murmuring, thinking something to make me happy. "Ahh.. ummm... P-princess... D-did I do something wrong?" he finally able says it but still scared. "N-no... It just... Women's problem..." I reply to him. "I see... I thought I did something bad to you." he replies back happily. Growlll.... His stomach suddenly growling hungrily. I turn to him. "Are you hungry?" I ask.

He replies with a nod. "I don't take breakfast because I thought I'll be late for picnic." some tears coming out from his eyes as he rubs his hungry stomach. I take out a handkerchief from the lunchbox and wipe away his tears. "There there. I brought some sandwhiches. I hope you could you can finish them up. If you don't, a heavy punishment is waiting for you once we arrive at the castle later." I say in teasing tune. He carves a big smile on his face as he nods. "Go wash your hands first." I tell him as I prepare the lunch for him. Feeling excited, he quickly run to a river, a few feets away from the place we spend our time together. When he arrives, I hand him a sandwhich that I specially made for Milhi. He looks at the sanwhich in excited face. He gulps before taking a bite. Swallowing the bite, suddenly he cries. Uhhhh... What's wrong? I didn't add anything spicy in it... "This is delicious!" he says, bursting in tears as he gobble up the sandwhich.

Somehow, the adult Eiji looks like he is a kid when he eat the sandwhich. I offer the whole lunchbox to him. I look at him, enjoying the sandwhiches that I made with all of my heart. I pour down some tea that I secretly prepare just in case he might choke while eating the sandwhiches. I put the water next to him, a little far from him so he doesn't knock it down by accident. I look upwards as I hear some birds singing. Suddenly, I feel sleepy. I adjust my position and lean my back against the tree. I look at Eiji. He still eating the sandwhiches. I close my eyes slowly before falling fast asleep.

An unknown time passes, I opens my eyes slowly, letting the light into my eyes. The first thing I see is... EIJI!!! I turn my face around. Ehhh??? I slept on Eiji's laps??? How can this be? I swear I was leaning on the tree and fell asleep there... Eiji notices I wakes up. He gives me a smile and gently carress my head. "It's okay... Just rest on my laps. You have put a lot of efforts in making the sandwhiches, I can feel it..." he says as his fingers slowly carressing my hair, little by little. I turn my face away from him, blushing. He rubs my head gently enough to make me as calm as water. "I'm really grateful to you. You have saved my life and giving me delicious food for me to enjoy. And this all I can give to you." he adds as he ticks the tip of my nose. After 30 minutes letting me resting on his laps, I ask him to escort me as it's getting late.

He agrees to do so. I stand up and pack things up. He also helps cleaning the place. After done cleaning up, Eiji walks first, making sure there is no harm in front. I walk slowly behind him while carrying the basket, feeling secure when he is by my side. I really enjoy our little 'date' today, Eiji. Suddenly, my right foot stumbles on a root. Eiji realizes it and quickly catches me by hugging me. He smiles before saying "Be careful where you're going.". Right after that, he gives a kiss on my forehead. "We don't want anything bad happen to you." he adds as he put me straight back. He turns away from me and begins to walk. I still shocked with the sudden hug and the k-k-kiss... I never thought he would do that!
