My good friend from south Texas, Katia, and her sister, Cira, had invited me to stay the night at their house and were ecstatic when I said I could come.
I went, and her family and I went out to Wally World and bought a few things so we had something to do. A few movies, some Sharpies, four or five packages of printer paper, and two Oscar fish.
If you haven't seen Oscars, they're these mean looking black fish with brilliant orange streaks on their body, about four inches to five inches long. Their mouths alone can open up to about an inch wide, and that's the big ones.
Problem is, she has a twenty gallon tank filled with guppies and wasn't sure they'd be compatible. Curious, we set up a tank and put the Oscars in, then added five or six guppies.
In about a minute we had fed the two Oscars.
