April 12, 1994
It has been over a month since Whitney and I got engaged, and the love between us has only gotten stronger and stronger. The love of my life was already four months pregnant, and I had just begun recording songs for my new HIStory Album. Thankfully, the release date for that album wasn't until June of next year. So that does give me a good amount of time to plan our wedding and bond with Bobbi Kristina and our new baby.
Another positive about working on the HIStory Album was that I actually didn't have to go very far to record my songs. Because I had my very own recording studio at Neverland, it was much easier for me to get my work done and just walk back to the main house to be with my family.
Once my recording producers left the ranch, I walked back to the main house to check on Whitney and little Bobbi Kristina.
Opening the door, I said proudly, "Honey, I'm home!"
Walking inside, I made my way into the kitchen to see my fiancé sitting at the kitchen table with an assortment of food, looking to me in surprise!
Laid out onto the table, she had various bags of chips and sweets galore!
Looking to her with initial surprise, I said,
"Hi, Baby!"
After swallowing whatever was in her mouth, she replied,
