Michael's POV
August 17, 1994
It has been a month since Clive decided to rear his evil ass to Neverland, and try to force Whitney onto a five hour flight to New York. It was so hard to not lose my temper with him and throw him off of our property! But thankfully, Whitney knows how I feel about him and is willing to talk to him about what transpired this past month.
In the meantime, Whitney had just turned thirty one a few days ago and was currently eight months pregnant! We were literally in the last stretch of the pregnancy and this close to meeting our child together!
I couldn't even sleep with all of this excitement and joy in my heart. As I laid in bed with Whitney sleeping peacefully in my arms, I thought about how great our child is gonna be. But at the same time, I couldn't help but worry that they weren't going to have that much of a normal childhood because of Whitney and I's star power.
I couldn't even go to a public restroom without the paparazzi trying to sneak in a camera! I knew that once our child was born, there would have to be restrictions as far as what they could do or where they could go in public without us. But just because I didn't get to have much of a childhood, didn't mean that I wanted my kids to not have one also. I just hope and pray we can give our child and Bobbi Kristina the best lives they can possibly have.
Speaking of which, as I continued to lay in bed with all of my thoughts, I suddenly heard Bobbi Kristina begin to cry from across the hall!
I noticed Whitney begin to shift herself out of bed, but knowing that she probably needed more rest, I said,
"No, no, Honey don't move! You stay in bed, and I'll take care of her."
Whitney asked, "Mike, are you sure?"
I answered, "Relax, Nippy. I got this."
And with that, I pulled the covers over Whitney as I got out of bed and went to check on little Bobbi Kristina.
As I entered the nursery, I looked to see Bobbi Kristina crying and standing at the railing of the crib. Walking over to the crib, I took my stepdaughter into my arms and said,
"Aww, Kristina... Shh... Shh... What's the matter, Krissi?"
Bobbi Kristina whimpered and uttered out the words,
"Ba-Ba!"
As she pointed to a baby bottle that rested on her dresser.
Looking at her, I said, "Oh, are you hungry? Well, don't you worry about that, Sweetie. We'll go take care of that right now."
Whitney's POV
It's been a few minutes now since Michael left to go check on Bobbi Kristina. Feeling the need to go check on them, I waddled by big butt out of bed and made my way over to the nursery.
Oh boy! Being eight months pregnant definitely made it harder to move around as quick as I want. But in the end, I knew it would make everything worth while knowing that we would get to meet our son or daughter in less than a month.
Once I made it to the nursery, I stood in the doorway to see Michael sitting in the recliner as he held Bobbi Kristina in his arms while my baby drank from her bottle.
While observing the two, I heard Michael say,
"Things are definitely beginning to change, Kristina. Pretty soon, you're gonna have a new baby brother or sister to play with. And they're gonna look up to you as their big sister. And then sometime after that, your Mommy and I will get married and we'll officially be a family."
