It had been six months since the disastrous family gathering at Neverland took place. Whitney had been at odds with the entire Houston family due to their treatment of both Prince and Paris and she hadn't spoken to her parents since. Though that hasn't stopped her or Michael from continuing on with their own family life and raising their children with love and music.
Though unbeknownst to them, they would soon be getting news that neither of them would've thought to be possible and would eventually impact their family's lives forever.
Starting with this morning, Michael and Whitney had awoken together from their beds and started getting ready for the day. For they would have a special day for themselves and their children at the Neverland Ranch.
While Michael was getting dressed, he said to himself, "I'm so excited for our children's day today."
Whitney said as she brushed her hair,
"I know! They've been asking us when we'd take them back to the rides for so long. I'm just glad we finally have time to do it."
Michael said, "Yeah, it feels good to spend this time with them and not worry about work for once."
As the two were finishing up with getting ready, all of a sudden, their bedroom door opened up to see a four-year-old Michaela standing behind the door, asking,
"Mommy? Daddy? Can I come in?"
Happy to see their daughter, Whitney said, "Sure baby. Come on in."
Michael asked as their daughter walked into the room, "Are you excited for today, Princess?"
Michaela nodded and asked, "Mommy? Daddy? What are these white spots on my elbow?"
Catching him off guard, Michael asked with concern,
"White spots?"
Their daughter nodded and said, "I was getting dressed and I saw these weird white spots on my elbows."
Whitney said as she helped to roll up her daughters' sleeves,
"Let me see, Baby."
Having rolled up her daughter's sleeves, Whitney and Michael looked at each other in shock to see that their daughter had two big white patches on her skin!
