The New Year was just about to roll in and it was almost time for Michael to make the big announcement about our love for each other and our pregnancy together. Given that we only had five more minutes until the ball dropped, Michael and I decided that now was the best time as any to tell everyone the news.
As the whole family was gathered around the TV, I spoke up,
"Everyone, may I please have your attention."
Everyone looked to me as I went on to say, "I just want to say thank you for allowing me to celebrate the new year with all of you here at Neverland, and for all of the love and support you have given me towards my second pregnancy. It means more to me than you could ever know. But that's not all. For you see, Michael and I have a very important announcement to make. And I will let Michael share that information with all of you now."
Standing beside me, Michael spoke as he placed a hand onto my stomach,
"We were gonna announce this at the NAACP Image Awards in a few days, but Whitney and I both agreed that you all should be the first to know before the public does. As you all know, Whitney has recently divorced Bobby Brown and she is now expecting a second child. But it's not the whole truth. Not only is it just her baby... It's ours."
In reaction to the news, everyone gasped in shock!
Katherine being the first person to react, she shouted with joy as she came and hugged us,
"Oh my goodness! Praise Jehovah! This is wonderful news!"
Janet exclaimed with a big smile on her face, "Oh my gosh! Congratulations guys!"
La Toya said, "Oh my gosh! This is incredible you guys!"
Rebbie said, "Wow! You two are gonna be parents!"
Joseph said, "Wait a minute! Let me get this straight, Whitney is pregnant with your child?"
Michael replied, "Yes, that is correct, Joseph. She is pregnant with our child."
Jackie said, "Man, just imagine! Another little Jackson coming into the family and we found out on New Years too!"
Randy retorted, "Yeah! And the sex must've been good too!"
