Chapter 20- Kazuko hates Fish...

~Hawks POV~

Mirko and I were outside. I was coughing up blood onto the grass when we heard an explosion. That couldn't be good. We looked up. "Shit..." Mirko mumbled.

"We have to go back in," I said.

"No, I'll go in. You have to get medical help right now" she scolded.

I coughed up more blood.

"You've just proved my point."

"I'm going in."

"Hawks stop trying to be a hero. Your wings are burnt to a crisp. You can't fight like that buddy" Mirko swung me over her shoulders and took me to the front where Recovery Girl was helping the injured. She put me down on a mat. "You'll thank me later."

"Yeah yeah," I rolled my eyes. She rolled her eyes right back then she turned to go back in. "You are not allowed to die in there!" I yelled. She waved her hand and turned to give me a big bright smile. Recovery Girl managed to fix me up a little but I wasn't a hundred percent yet.

The fight went on until the last villain standing passed out right in the middle of the fight. The guy must have been exhausted.

After finding anyone who was trying to run away. We started heading back to Hikari and soon enough I was in Mirko's apartment because the police were investigating mine. The two of us crawled in.

Kazuko and Tora were sitting on the couch playing video games. "Oh my gosh! Are you guys ok?" Tora hurried over to us and was trying to support us to the couch. Kazuko was glaring at the two of us but then smiled softly.

"Welcome back," she said while giving us pats on the back.

"I appreciate your worry Kid but I think we'll be ok" I reassured Tora.

"Better safe than sorry! You guys stink..." she exclaimed, "You smell like dry blood and fish. Did you go fishing on the way here?"

Mirko chuckled.

"I wish but maybe next time we can all go fishing" I suggested.

"I hate fish" Kazuko mumbled. Tora and I gasped. How could she?

After a shower and some dinner, I went to get some sleep. The same image of Twice kept popping up no matter how hard I tried, I guess this was my eternal punishment. I deserved it...
