,,Good morning, Eddie'' a familiar yet comforting voice could be heard from his beloved from the other side of the bed. It was early in the morning. The sun was still rising and the rooster had just started to crow to wake up the people around the area.
Luca got up and streched his back while looking at Edgar's relaxed body.
But some noise could be heard from outside. Luca looked through the window and saw a lot of people waiting at the entrace at the house along with police officers. Luca got terrifed and quickly woke up the painter.
,,Eddie, we just got ourselves into a great trouble'' Luca said with a worried voice
Edgar woke up and peeked. His eyes were met with a lot of people, most of them were police officers Mr.Sarai and of course his dad.
Edgar knew he got himself into a lot of trouble and will be screamed at in just a couple of minutes.
The painter quickly picked up his dress and started to wear it, but was stopped by Luca who was offering him one of his suits. Edgar started to wear it with the help of his boyfriend.
Finally Edgar was ready to go outside and ,,meet and greet'' with his dad.
The painter went outside of the inventor's house. At first glance his dad seemed happy, but the painter knew this was just an act. He only showed himself as a nice man infront of people.
,,Let's go home, sonny'' Mr. Valden said with a smile.
As soon as they got home the dad started scolding his son for going outside without permission
,,Do you even know what you did, Edgar?''
,,Ah, yes now I remember. You made a mockery out of our name, screamed at your tutor, gave money to some stranger and God knows what else you did in that house.''
,,WE ARE ALL OVER THE NEWSPAPERS, EDGAR''
,,And...?'' Edgar asked while looking straight at his father''
,,If you didn't call police on such a thing, maybe we could not be on the news'' Edgar said
,,Maybe if you didn't go to that house at night I woudn't be calling any police at all'' the father said
,,Like I didn't do it before'' Edgar said. The dad couldn't belive what just his son said.
He bitch slapped him in the face. The slap was so strong that his cheek became much redder than the other one and tears started to form in the cornor of his eyes.
No one dared to stop him and the day went on Edgar crying in his room while his parents worked and Maple and Shazo trying to comfort Edgar.
