Recovery

The painter headed straight from the hunter's manor to Luca that was patiantly waiting for his beloved. 

Once he was there he saw Emily treating Luca. When Emily saw him, she left was she was doing and went straight towards the brunette and asked:

,,What did you do this time, Valden?''He knew that she knew already, so he answered.

,,Revenge for Luca Balsa''After the Valden heir said that, both Emily and Edgar heard a familiar voice that was coming from the bed.

,,Y-you shoudn't h-have!''That was Luca who wasn't getting any better, but the quiet oposite. Edgar pushed Emily aside and went straight to Luca who started to cough blood. 

Emily went towards the males, but was immediatly pushed back by Edgar.

,,Edgar, what are you doing?''

,,Do not touch him!''

,,Listen to me, I'm trying to cure him''

,,Yeah, that's why he's getting worse''

,,Ok then, what will you do if I leave, then?''

Edgar was silent for a moment, since he didn't know anything about medicine.

,,F-Fine, but I'll stay here!''Edgar agreed Emily to do whatever she had to do with Luca.

Emily started to do her job and thought about Martha Beck and how she acidently killed her while doing her a surgery. Even till this day, Freddy still can't forgive Emily for what she did that day.

2 days had passed into treating, but finally Luca started to get better and he even started to walk. Edgar helped him take his first steps since that attack. 

After some time Luca was the same cheerful and happy person he used to be.

One night while Luca was making inventions he heard a knock on his door. 

When he opened it, his eyes were met with no other than Edgar.

,,Eddie?''

,,I'm scared for you, that's why I'm staying here''

,,O-ok''Luca agreed unsure how to react

Luca then sat himself on his chair and started to work on his inventions while Edgar quietly stayed behind him and just watched the taller male do what he loved the most. Edgar then decided to break the silence by saying:

,,You got invited to a match and Victor asked me to give the invitation'' The shorter brunette then pulled out a letter from his pockets. Luca took the peace of letter and started to read it

His eyes widened while he read.

Dear, Luca Balsa

You got invited to a duo hunters match.

Survivors: Ganji, Luca, Edgar, Victor, Andrew, Fiona, Eli, Naib

Map:Moonlight River Park

Hunters:Mary, Galatea

,,Ugh, not again''Luca said while rolling his eyes

,,Luca don't worry. Since it's dangerous for you I'll distract the hunters right from the start''

,,But what about you?''Luca asked him, but Edgar shushed Luca and said

,,You are hurt right now, and besides if it wasn't for you back then before the manor, I would've been already dead''

This was the sweetest thing Luca had ever heard from someone besides his parents. The inventor may not remember what he did before the manor, but atleast he made Edgar happy.

Luca hugged the painter. Edgar enjoyed the hug that lasted for 10 seconds.

,,Wish you luck tomorrow, Balsa'' 

,,Same goes to you, Valden''

Edgar went into his room since it was getting late and the match was at 7pm. For the rest of the night Luca daydreamed about Edgar instead focusing on his inventions and Edgar also did the same.
