Thankful

I'm Thankful

I'm Thankful for how the sun feels against my skin,

I'm Thankful for how rain relaxes and calms me,

I'm Thankful for the oxygen I breathe,

I'm Thankful for nature being so beautiful,

I'm Thankful for books and poems,

I'm Thankful for songs and music,

I'm Thankful for the distractions they bring,

I'm Thankful that they help me escape even if it's just for an hour or two,

I'm Thankful for my friends,

New and Old,

I'm Thankful for the boy who understands me all too well, the boy who is of great help. He is amazing and kind and sweet, much too good for me but still I am ever so greatly thankful that he walked into my life and chose to listen and to help me.

I am Thankful.
