Julie's day at work had ended, and she had finally arrived home.
She walked in to see Nova sitting on their couch, assumingly doing school.
Julie sighed. "Nova, we need to talk."
Nova brushed it off, and ignored Julie as if she wasn't there. She's stubborn, what can you say?
"Nova, I want to apologize."
Nova shut off her laptop, and looked to Julie, with a smug smile. "I'm listening."
Julie sat, and faced her. "I'm sorry Nov. I was just scared, and upset, and overwhelmed, and I took it out on you, and I'm sorry. You were right, I can't blame myself, because I had nothing to do with it. And I'm sorry for accusing you of not caring. I know that you care so deeply for people you don't even know that well. So I'm sorry Nova."
Nova laughed, "Thank you Jules. I accept. And I know you didn't mean it. Sorry for acting so petty about it."
"So, how about you come by to visit him today?" She asked. "And you have to say yes because I already told him you're coming."
"Fine." She gave in.
"Alright, we can leave in a bit." Julie agreed.
"Hey Jules, can I ask you something?" Nova said.
"Sure, what's up?"
"I know I always call Luke your boyfriend, but what are you guys, actually?" Nova asked.
"Oh.." Julie thought. "We haven't...clarified that. But labels aren't important!"
"But you wish you had one." Nova muttered.
Julie shoved her playfully, before she got a text.

Hey, are you gonna go see Luke tonight? Cause me, reg, and alex were going, we were wondering if we should pick you up?

Sure. Can I bring Nova?

"Okay Nov, get ready! Luke's cousin and a few of his friends are gonna pick us up." Julie said, yelling to Julie.

A few minutes passed, and Carrie, Alex and Reggie were outside Julie's apartment.
"Hey!" Julie welcomed, giving them all hugs.
"Hey, how are you holding up?" Alex asked.
"Good to be honest. Nova is just getting her shoes on."
Nova walked out, and Reggie's attention was immediately grabbed.
