Hee shook her head no; she wasn't sure what to say. He took pity on her, she suspected, "Before you were born, you were promised to the Prince; they weren't sure if you were a girl. But if you were, then you'd marry the Prince. When you were born your father took you and your brothers, he told everyone that his wife and the baby died during birth. For years everyone believed it, a few weeks ago someone spotted you at the river with your youngest brother. Word returned to the King and sent us to get his bride. His father died and he became King several months ago, he's been looking for his bride ever since. You are alive and promised to him, so it's time to fulfill your duty."

"What? Am I going to be the Queen? You have got to be kidding me." She could not be Queen; she knows nothing of the world outside her little slice of home. Her brothers have doted on her her entire life; they do everything around the house. All the things that have been deemed that a woman should know.

Well, they didn't know how to teach her any of that; they were clueless. So she can't do embroidery or paint as their mother could. She can shoot you with an arrow accurately from 300 feet away. She's also decent with a sword. The day that she got her period was officially the most chaotic day ever in her house. Her brothers ran around screaming their heads off like she was dying.

It took about 45 minutes before they calmed down and figured out what it was. Bless those three idiots. She loved them so much. Hee looked at Hoseok and took a deep breath. "Am I going to be the Queen?" He nodded his head, and she blew out the breath she was holding, "Okay, I will accept my fate and be the best Queen I can be." Hoseok looked sad; he wouldn't look her in the eyes anymore. "What is it?"

He slowly looked up to meet her eyes, "I shouldn't be saying this, but the King went mad. He didn't use to be like this, but I'm afraid nothing can save him now."

"Hobi," the one with the light brown eyes yelled, "You can't say things like that about the King; he'll have your head if he finds out."

Hoseok sighed heavily, "Forgive me. I should not have spoken ill about our King. I'm sure you'll be a great Queen Cho-Hee."

"Hee, you can call me Hee." She smiled at him. She wanted them to trust her even more if the King was the Mad King. Now, how long until we arrive at the Palace, Hoseok?"

"Hobi, call me Hobi. We should be there sometime before dinner tonight." Then he untied her hands; he must have realized she wouldn't run away or fight.

"Will I be able to clean up before I meet the King? I want to make a good impression." She was rubbing her wrists, which had been tied together for hours with rope, so they were really red and sore.

He heard the one with the big dark eyes snort. She turned to look at him, and he cleared his throat and looked at everything but the future Queen. She turned to look at the one next to him. He was at least looking at her. "So I know Hobi, but I don't know your names."

The one with the light eyes smiled beautifully, "I'm Park Jimin, and this is Jeon Jungkook." Jungkook barely looked at her; he just nodded and ignored her.

"Well it's nice to meet you Jimin and Jungkook, I'm Hee." Jimin kept smiling at her, and Jungkook still wouldn't look at her, so she turned back to Hobi, "I guess we should be on our way then. Can I sit up here with you?"

He helped Hee sit beside him, and the horses started walking again. Being up there and seeing the countryside, she'd never really left her home. Other than exploring the woods near the house. She could tell they were getting closer to the castle, and tension was rising among her companions. Jungkook never really talked, and Hobi only answered questions, but Jimin kept up a running commentary the whole way. So when he stopped talking, she realized that something was off.
